I'm considering the Post Gazette Pavillion(Star Lake) show. Really like his solo stuff as well as his influence on Floyd. It's a 2 hour drive and a 60 dollar lawn seat on a Sunday night so...we'll see. Star Lake still let's you tailgate, and there is a cool campground right there so...we'll see.
Plus I have obvious issues with the owners of the venue.... Maybe I'll just wait and let the weather dictate... or try to hit up a connection for a freebie to the cleveland show...
I went last week and had a great time. I tried to google a setlist but couldn't find any. He played Dark Side for his second set which was awesome. I saw him at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, NJ and had lawn seats. If I had the money, this was one of the shows where real seats would have been worth it. From what I could see, the whole stage's backdrop was a movie screen and he had some pretty cool visuals/clips/etc going for each song. They only have tvs for the lawn seats to see, so it was hard to get the full effect. I'll look harder for a set list and post it when i find it. He did The Wall for an encore (and two songs before that which I forgot, sorry!)
I was a bit disappointed and surprised with the crowd. There were a lot more younger people than I expected, younger than me (and I'm only 23). These youngin's were DRUNK and OBNOXIOUS. Granted they partially redeemed themselves by singing along to most of the songs, but still, it was not as laid back as I'd like it to be when listening to Dark Side.
Set list: FIRST HALF: In The Flesh, Mother, Set The Controls For the Heart Of The Sun, Shine On You Crazy Diamond, Have A Cigar, Wish You Were Here, Southampton Dock, The Fletcher Memorial Home, Perfect Sense parts 1 and 2, Leaving Beirut, Sheep.
SECOND HALF: Dark Side of the Moon.
ENCORE: The Happiest Days Of Our Lives, Another Brick In The Wall (Pt 2), Vera, Bring the Boys back Home, Comfortably Numb.

Okay, so if Superfly knows whats good for em, they will make damn sure that Roger is at Bonnaroo 07....the show I attended this past Friday was quite possibly the best thing I have ever witnessed in my life.
