Mine was John for the longest time, but the more I thought about it, the more I get mad at him for marrying Yoko. I'm going to say the George is my favorite Beatle. He was a very serious musician who only got better and more talented as the band developed, and I will always love his studies in India, sitar-playing, friendship with Ravi Shankar and the Concert for Bangledesh. Moreover, I think I like George the best because he doesn't give you any reason to hate him. John married Yoko and brought about the band's destruction. Paul was the first one to actually quit, and has since become a pompous jerk-off, Wings has like 3 good songs and 50 lame ones. And Ringo was (and still is) Ringo Starr. He's a good drummer, but moreorless he just caught a break in signing with the other three. He's a drummer and 9 out of 10 drummers are replaceable, and his voice sucked.

John. I mean, he's John. All of the Beatles are pretty cool, but I think only John can move people like he did. Be it love or hate, John doesn't go unnoticed. He was the only one that, well, made a whole cult of himself and his image.
Paul is an extremely talented musician, but that's about it.
George is your average musician person (with a whole load of talent). He was great, but he lived the average music legend life. he doesn't, at least in me, inspire the feelings that John does.
Ringo. Maybe he was replaceable, maybe not. From what I've heard he was the most virtousic out of the four (I couldn't judge as I'm not a drummer, but the Beatles weren't exactly known for virtuosism), but the again, you know how drummers are. In any case, Ringo is cool for appearing in that Monty Python episode.

John for sure,Didn't Ringo star in a cave man movie where they invented music and got stoned on some prehistoric pot fruit is that the movie you were taking about Gnome
Without a doubt, George. Most interesting songwriter musically, very underrated as a guitar player and an all around great sounding guy. I mean, the kind of guys he made friends with after leaving the Beatles just impressed me.
John was a great writer of lyrics and the best musical interpreter in the band but I always felt that he and Paul really needed each other as songwriters to balance the other out. John also struck me as a bit of a poser in many regards. His solo stuff ranges from great to irritatingly overrated as do his personal politics and beliefs. He's my second favorite, but with the footnote that it's based mostly on talent, and that he strikes me as the kind of friend who'd turn into a massive asshole if you went drinking with him.
Ringo's great and not very talented or interesting.
There are few musicians out there who impress me less as they get older as much as Paul does. He's turning into a butthead. He's my least fav.
I give Paul props for refusing to play in China due to their horrendous human rights violations. I'm split between John and George (the biggest hippie of the group), so I'll say Ringo because I am a drummer and because his misadventures with Keith Moon are legendary.
