Anyone else around here into Destroyer (aka Dan Bejar of the New Pornographers)? I've had "Your Blues" for sometime, but just got my hands on "Destroyer's Rubies" yesterday and it is tremendous, so much Bowie circa Ziggy Stardust goodness. I would love to see him added to Bonnaroo, but doubt it this late in the game.

wow you read my mind i was just about to make a destoyer post. f'ing awesome. i have rubies and streethawk: a seduction. both in heavy rotation right now. european oils is such a beautiful song. i am looking forward to seeing them at pitchforkmedia fest this summer. spread the word
I picked up Rubies after the Pitchfork announcement. I'm pretty new to the whole Indie/Pitchfork-related scene and actually haven't gotten around to listening to New Pornographers yet, so this was really my first exposure to him. It hasn't really grabbed me yet. I picked up a ton of new stuff based on the Pitchfork and Intonation lineups, and after one listen and hearing a few tunes in shuffle, I don't have an opinion either way yet.
