Awesome pictures - I actually borrowed one to be my new desktop background. I love beach pictures, I really miss the beach a lot living here in Nashville...
that was completely retarded of me tell me about where you stayed in costa rica. and we are thinking puerto vallerta if we choose mexico
Thats okay we all have those moments. But I've been to Puerto Vallerta a few years back and it was really nice.
Costa Rica has different regions with somewhat different climate zones Heres a picture
I stayed in Corcovado National Park for 3 days which is in the Southern Zone(purple). It was just beautiful there, some of the best diving in the world, hiking through the rainforest, its also one of the most remote areas.
Then we went up to Quepos/Manuel Antonio which is in the Central Pacific (light blue) which is known for the surfing and sport fishing. Manuel Antonio rocked, it was the most laid back place I'd ever been, the locals were very cool, and you can smoke pot wherever you want, and most of the locals have no problem blazing one with you
Then we stayed at this resort called Peace Lodge which is in the Central Highlands(green) that surround San Jose. It kind of reminded me of the Smoky Mountains with the exception of tropical wildlife and flowers but that is where they grow a lot of coffe and there is some beautiful waterfall hiking trails and scenary.
I wish I could have traveled more....I hear the Carribean side has a some different wildlife and culture plus there is a lot of volcanoes to see. Let me know if you want any more info I'll be happy to share!!!! If traveling to Costa Rica I definatly recommend staying for at least 10 days because you have to take out time for traveling to different spots and the first and last day is pretty much all airport time, blah.
