Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
1st time Roo'er here. I've been lurking pretty much since I bought my tickets but just haven't posted.
I have a non-Bonnaroo question. Is anyone else on here going to the Strokes concert in Memphis on Monday? I just got an e-mail that it has been moved from the Orpheum to the New Daisy and that it is now GA (which sucks as I had killer tickets). Oh well, just hoping someone on here had some info.
Maybe this will get me posting. Oh yeah...meant to post this yesterday. I have a Spiderman costume (don't ask) if anyone wants it for a costume for Roo (we'll be in the tent-only area, and I could bring if for someone).
One more thing (wow...I should have been posting...I have lots to say). My friends and I love the idea of a flag...and one of them told me that he was going to make ours a picture of a guy who needed to poop but was holding it (in honor of my germaphobia). I'm thinking that will be hard to depict. Any other suggestions?

OK...glad to get that off my chest.

I have no info regarding the memphis venues, but I can tell you that the strokes put on an incredible show when I saw them in Anaheim and San Diego in March. you're in for a treat (assuming you really like the strokes)
Thanks Kampy. Yeah, I'm pretty psyched about the show, but I'm bummed at how poorly tickets sold here. I checked Ticketmaster yesterday, and they had only sold like 17 rows in the theatre here in Memphis (which would explain the move to the club). Oh well, we finally get a decent concert here and no one shows up. I guess I will continue going to St. Louis and Nashville (and Manchester) if I want to see a good show.

man your lucky to see the show in the club. I can't beleive it sold that bad. Most of the other shows sold out. Im sorry you dont get good shows in town...I bet you get a lot of Toby Keith shows.
Like Cheese said, most of this tour has been sold out, so feel fortunate. I missed them on this past tour (unfortunately), but have seen them a few times before and they've never disappointed.
Yeah, I'm not sure whether to be disappointed or happy about the move from the Orpheum (a nice, legitimate theater) to the New Daisy (a run of the mill club). On one hand, it will be much smaller (and louder), but we had pretty sweet seats at the Orpheum (6th row)....and now it is general admission. Who knows. I guess it is what it is, huh? Beer should be cheaper.
Yeah, I'm pumped about the show. I hear they are really good live and figure a good concert is a nice warm-up to the Roo (going with the same group).
And yes....many....many crappy country bands. Actually, most of the country acts either come here or to Tunica, MS (casinos).
