Anyone ever been? I was just looking at the website and it just looks like a blast. I love DSO, and the timing is just perfect. I'd love to hear why this isn't a higher profile festival.
i havent been. but i am going this year. i cant wait. i cant wait to see the new riders of the purple sage. im hoping they will work with dso and put on a remake of a show where nrps opened for the dead. at any rate there was a discussion a while back about this fest and it has some interesting info. a link to a review from 04 and to the venues site. it looks/sounds like an incredible time and i cant wait. it will be sons first festival. anyways heres the link to the other thread
i hear that. it will be my first time seeing them. im checking out grasshopper pie for the first time right now on archives.org and im diggin it. its going to be awesome to see all of these bands in such a small and great atmosphere. plus rusted root will be there. so if there is some horrible schedule conflict at roo i can skip them and not cry too much. i hope it dosent come to that though
