is anybody else watching this tonight? i was a hardcore fan but im losing interest quickly. every season it gets worse and worse. jack bauer has jumped the shark and then done a back flip onto the shark and is now riding the shark through nucler blasts to bring down the president! and he even had time to swing through and rescue secretary heller. its too much. ill be flipping back and forth to basketball but hope to catch most of it. the only thing that can save this show is jack bauer getting smoked. then they can start with something fresh for next season. maybe a 24 in baghdad or something real and interesting instead os the superhero fantasy thing thats 24 turned into. just my opinion.
yep. for some reason im thinking chloe might get it. it just seems like it might be time for here to go. maybe audrey. so jack can have some new angry mission to undertake.... im still hoping its jack though. and for real this time. no coming back. hes harder to kill then jason

So after watching the first 22 hours this year and letting my wife use the good HDTV for her Grey's Anatomy finale last week ("and then I get it for 24 next week"), I ended up skipping the finale for a Sox game. I'm glad I did (classic extra inning return of Frank Thomas game). I dig the show but a man needs to keep his priorities straight.
Anyway, I'm so addicted to my HD (which I can't record) that I didn't even bother to record it. My reception is no good (no cable) and seeing a fuzzy square on my big TV just doesn't work when you are used to a big widescreen HD image.
So anyway, what happened? Does anyone have a link to a good recap? I've gathered from various places that Jack almost tortured the President and the twisty cliffhanger ending had him in the hands of the Chinese.
ya i know he didnt actually rescue him. i thought it was the stupides thing i ever saw for him to even drive off the cliff. completely ridiculos. and then for him to survive is just wrong. i still think 24 is entertaining. but its nowhere near the show it was in the first season. everyyear its moved away from a realistic action drama into a superhero action comedy. i would have been fine with this season if they would have pput kim back into that damp tanktop in a cold room again
ya but that punch tot he throat from an elderly sec of def took him down! just everything abotu it this season. i would see the commecials for mi:3 and it seems like 24. i mean people holding their breaths and climbing through gas and what not. its just gotten a bit too cheesy for me. once they had wayne palmer doing navy seal nuts and gave chloe that spy background music i knew it was all over
like i said i still thinks its entertaining. just now its entertainign ina wwf kinda way
