It's impossible to answer this question without knowing what the deal is. I suspect that they're just talking about some sort of slap on the wrist. If so, you have to decide whether that's something you can live with or if it's worth fighting over. (Not sure what you'd fight over. It wasn't me? That wasn't pee? You're only prosecuting me because I'm _____?) If you aren't sure and need more time, plead not guilty. You can probably change your plea later after you get things sorted out. I hope they're not getting all hard-ass about it. But either way, you should talk to a lawyer. If nothing else, he or she can give you a sense of what outcomes are likely. Good luck.
I suggest you plead not guilty. Then go to court and see if the cop shows up. If he doesn't, then you're off the hook. They usually do show up. But I got off for "running" a stop sign, cause my douche bag officer guy didn't show, so it does happen. You usually have to pay a little more for going to court though. Either way, I don't think it'll be any big deal.
haha.. this totaly reminded me about the time I got a citation for disturbing the peace... note to everyone, don't go into a McDonalds and order food with a bull horn, it'll only get you a ticket
