Well, I heard so much about rain & mud I broke down and bought some rain boots...I don't think I have ever owned a pair before even living here in Florida. I am a girl so I had to look around and find a cute pair because if I was going to wear these huge clodhoppers they at least should have some kind of style

I found these on Target's website and they JUST came in the mail....my friends were jealous so I ordered them boots the next day and should arrive tomorrow...Man, am I LOVING UPS this week ;D I will post my friends boots tomorrow when I get them...They are great, lined inside w/ fabric around your calf, buckles so you can tighten them so rain doesn't run down your leg and fill your boot and they have a soft insole inside. I am impressed for $26 shipped, I couldn't be happier!!!!

i almost ordered the exact same ones but decided against boots (which will probably bite me in the ass later!) they're really cute though!

I got black crocs, then later decided I wished i got a crazy color. They come in all sorst of odd colors that i dismissed immediately because of...well, the oddness of them. Then after the fact I realized that for such odd shoes, they deserve an odd color. Try something new!

I have a pair of hardcore workmen's boots that I plan on breaking out when the going gets tough. I hate mud, and I definitely don't like it on my feet. But I love music... so boots it is.

Actually, that is my pool in the background. It is huge, 18 x 36 and 8 ft deep. In Florida, you have to have a pool. I have pool parties all summer long but it would be too hot for warm apple pie shots. Maybe, lemondrops or frozen margaritas. yummmmm, now I am getting thirsty! Come on down and I will figure out some kind of cocktail. Maybe, mojitos for my cuban heritage ;D
BTW, I am getting crocs too but I figured if it REALLY rained I might need something more...
I don't know what color for crocs though:
chocolate, khaki or really bright orange?
What do you think, will dark colors make your feet hotter or sweat more? ???
