That's really just ungrateful. They should get the cops involved and settle this once and for all. They've made it easy for the cops, they have an address, phone numbers, and screennames, hell even pictures! I would march down to the police station say "these people stole a $300 cell phone, go get them" while holding a list of contacts. They could probably have that phone back in 10 minutes!

While i do feel bad for the person that had his Sidekick stolen, i feel like this is a pretty immature way at getting back at the people. Posting their pictuers and websites on the internet is something that I would've done in like 7th grade. This guy needs to either get some balls and go get his sidekick, or at least have the cops do it.

these thieves will get what's coming to them... I'm sorry, but stealing anything outside of basic survival (like if you were homeless and starving and you stole an apple or something) is just plain wrong.
and I love how they even implicate themselves buy saying they "bought" it off of a cab driver, like that makes it any different, or puts them in the clear.... that's receiving stolen goods and is just as punishable as stealing it yourself.
like I said, they'll have what's coming to them... if this chick really wanted to, she could put up a lawsuit on them for distress and mental anguish and probably win (not saying that's the right thing to do, but it could be done.)... these thieves are f*cking themselves by not just giving the phone back
I really can't wait to see what the repercussions are on these people.. I'd like to see them try and argue this one in court..
in any case, an MP (I'm not sure I believe the guy when he says he's an MP) has knowledge of something stolen and isn't giving it back... he could get court marshalled for that... and for threatening this girl.
