I am watching the news right now and there is a hurricane warning from Longboat Key(Sarasota area) up to almost Tallahassee....
Who all is being affected by this storm and is anyone thinking of changing their plans because of it?
We are in the Tampa Bay area and it looks like we may get some bad weather down here. They are saying it will be a minimal hurricane...WTF is a minimal hurricane? I hope this doesn't change anything for us but I hope everyone is safe and sound and we all get to roo in one piece

That is what we are hoping for...If we have to leave a few hours later to miss it we will but don't want to. I hope it just weakens and we won't have to worry!
I was born and raised in FL so I am not paranoid about huricanes or anything, just don't want it to mess up my plans
i wouldn't worry about it--a minimal hurricane is another way of saying really big thunderstorm---it won't get past cat 1(if it even reaches hurricane staus)----i usually don't worry unless it gets cat3 or above--we're leaving wed pm and anticipate a little rain along the way, but nothing to change our plans about---
