So who's going down to Penn's Landing this coming Sunday? Bob Mould, De La Soul, and The Flaming Lips. Can't ask for more than that....oh wait....yeah you can, cause it's FREE!!!
Yeah, I haven't really gotten into em. I tried, but on the first try I couldn't get past the sing-talking. I really hate that sh!t. But I've heard so much about em that I'd definately give em a chance live. The Chameleon is a great venue, small, but it makes it real easy to get up front. I've seen sooooo many good bands there over the years and they have $5 yuelgling 22oz too....bonus!!!

Ok philly folk, there is a band that I have been listening to for over a year and a half from philly. They are called The Hail Social and I absolutely love them. Have any of you guys seen there show? If so, I would like to see how popular they are in the area. One of those things where you find a small band and hope that they get big and play more national shows. I know they play a lot in Philly and are playing some kind of river show soon I think.
Also I am jealous of you people living in PN, I have a lot of family up there and I love Philly.
"That's the big thing about education. People can be book smart, but not really intelligent about anything else. A lot of times they just taking in all this information and regurgitate it. It's much more important to process it and personalize it. To apply it to your world, to your life. You have to walk the walk, or you can't really report about it honestly."
