Is anybody thinking about heading to the Newport Folk Festival in Rhode Island?... or maybe you've been there before and could tell me about it?
The only artists I'm really familiar with are Keller Williams and David Gray, but I thought it would be fun to go to another festival and it's really close to me here at school in CT. I might just make the drive there each day with my roomate, but if others want to go I'd consider camping nearby.

Like you,I'm not familair with anyone else except Keller and David Gray. I've heard a little bit of Grace Potter, and I'm only a few hours from CT, but I don't think I'd be up for making the trip to see 2 or three sets..
yeah... I'm thinking the Wood Brothers, Indigo Girls and The Meters would be cool to see also, and I love seeing new stuff I haven't heard before, so as long as my roomie is still up for it I'm definitely gonna head over there.
