Bush, AAARRRGGGG I swear I am convinced that the man loves death. I really believe this, I really believe that he loves the thought of death to people by his hand. Hell look at his death penalty record when he was the Gov of TX. He oversaw the state sponsered murder of more people that any other governor in the hiostory of our country!!
Now, on the news this morning, It has just steamed the shit outta me!!!!!!
First, his unwavering support of Isreal, WTF!!! There are many world leader and the UN calling for an immediate ceasefire, THEN they want to try and figure out how to solve the differences.
Now I think that is a pretty good idea, STOP KILLING INNCOCENT PEOPLE FIRST, then solve the differences.
Does Bush support an immediate ceasefire from both side????
NNNNOOOOOOOO!!!!!! Isreal is right, everyone else is wrong.
It is OK for Isreal to continue firing on Lebanon, but Hezbollah must stop shooting first, THEN Isreal MIGHT stop as well.
Just stop phucking killing each other. You would think Mr Democracy (see Hamas!!), Mr Peace, Mr Enduring Freedom, would want the death to end. Nope, I think he loves seeing dark people die!!
Not only that, but he makes the comment this morning that WE are gonna have to put and end to it. Who the phuck is he gonna send, the boy and girl scouts??? the military is stretched to its limit right now. Ask New Orleans if he should send the National Guard!!!
THEN right after the middle east story, the azzhat decides he is going to veto the stem cell bill that passed in congress yeasterday. And it didn't just pass, it passed overwhelmingly.
So, in less than 5 mintues on the news thins morning, I hear that Bush is pushing to have more American soldiers and innocent lebanese and Isrealis killed by (pending) american involvement
AND
He is going to deny thousand of sick and dying Americans right here at home the access to the medical help they need.
Food for thought: Look back at the history of organ transplants and organ donating. When this medical technology first began coming to the forefront of the public eye, there was TREMENDOUS opposition to it become a normalilzed part of our society. Look at the thousands of lives organ transplants ahve saved now so many years later.
Do you know where the majority of that opposition came from back then????? That's correct!!! The Christian Right!
I can't stand that bastard!!!!! I will be glad when the Dems win majority in both the house and the senate in Nov and bring that phucker up on articles of impeachment!!!!!
Rant Over!
I still love all of y'all though and yeah Rightys, I am ready for my flames, "BRING EM ON!!!" ;D ;D ;D

This is my favorite bit of irony. He doesn't mind killing people via the death penalty (they're criminals, they deserve it - whatever - I'm not going to say that argument is totally wrong, but killing someone is killing someone), he doesn't mind the murder of innocent civilians in Lebanon and Iraq, yet he's all up in arms over the "killing" of unborn "humans" when doing so could possibly help so many people.
I know you can say they are totally innocent and helpless beings, but what about the civilians? And I think the argument against the embryos actually being humans is a valid one. It certainly makes more sense than the eye for an eye attituded that comes into play with the death penalty, in my opinion.
dmbfan--I'm with you on all but the knee-jerk reaction deciding that the democrats are the answer. I'll agree that the mid terms are important, and that is one way to turn the tide. But what will we turn it to ? Both parties are in the pockets of lobbyists and vice versa. We don't need a Leiberman taking us to war either. Both the Dems and the Repubs denied Nader the ability to debate in 2000, while allowing Perot to debate prior. Nader was no less a candidate than Perot, he just would have said some things unpopular to both sides that struck a real chord with people.
I voted Nader in 2000 and Kerry in 04, but I don't think I could vote AGAINST someone ever again as I did by voting for Kerry. The Democrats should have the sharpest tool-shed going for to defeat the "Republican Goliath". But why are they, too, so inept ? Follow the money. Electing independents locally is the best place to start. That, and actually Stand for Something (except OLDE MONEY) if you want to bring back life to the democrats(good luck).
The other political option is to have seven states call for a "constitutional congress". I am not entirely well versed on this at all. But I believe that is somehow what it takes to rewrite large portions of our current constitution. Rewriting for the sake of, say, a national primary day so that poorer people would have a shot at getting elected. Or a national voting holiday, where everyone gets the day off to vote. Unfortunately, we'd also be drawn into debate about abortion's place in the constitution, the right to carry a cannon in your car, etc.
But debate is better than what we got now. Checks and balances should matter, even if you don't have a checking account !

---Or maybe you can figure out a way for Gore to carry Tennesee next time !!! ---Or as an Ohioan, maybe I can help them count the vote. Nope, Blackwell for Governor(the republican chairman of the Bush in Ohio committee, current sec. of state of ohio, and former Jimmy Carter Staffer--just to demonstrate how little it means which party you pick) has already insured that Diebold will do that electronically. Diebold, by the way, was one of Bush's larger contributors--go figure.

ZING!!! Touche.
I know, that killed me!!!! I agree about the knee-jerk "dems are the answer" comment. I was just fuming at the time. Polotics really get me upset and yes you are correct the dems are not the answer, I just think they are a little more along the lines of what I believe.
Certainly not the answer though. I agree, we need more independents!
I mean, seriously, Gore couldn't carry his own state? I live in rural Tennessee and I can tell what most of these rednecks would say to me down here: "Whazamatter with you? You wanna vote fer tha' goddamm Kerry so he kin take 'r guns away?"
I'm like,"Dude, gun control has nothing to with it."
Bush also played his "MORALITY" card extremely well. All these southerners used to say, " I agree with his morals." But I think now the writing is pretty much on the wall. He's a killer.

funny I thought Gore had more votes than Bush? Good thing Jeb was there to make sure the votes were counted right. Gore IMO is a good dude who actually cares about the planet (what a concept) He just didn't have any personality until after the election. And the stain on his buddys interns dress didn't help him. Bush is an idiot! It amazed me to see the american sheep buy into his fear politics. Gay marriage, abortion etc. etc., Lets attack them before they think about attacking us. Then call yourself a christian. Oh yeah isnt that what jesus said smack the guys cheek before he smacks yours.
A driver is stuck in traffic on the highway. Nothing is moving. Suddenly a man knocks on the window. The driver roles down his window and asks, "What happened?"
"Terrorists have kidnapped George Bush, Dick Cheney, Karl Rove, and Donald Rumsfeld. They are asking for a $10 million ransom. Otherwise they are going to douse them with gasoline and set them on fire. We are going from car to car, taking up a collection."
The driver asks, "How much is everyone giving, on average?"
