What happens if my tee shot lands on a bird's back and he carries it out of bounds but then is attacked by a larger bird who grabs the ball and drops it in the hole? Is that still a hole in one? 'Cause that's how I'm gonna play it.

I never thought I'd say this, but I'm actually looking forward to tomorrow night! It's funny, the Yahoo fantasy pages are blocked at work, but they "allow" us to use it one hour a day, from noon-1. I can see this is quickly going to become an obsession. I really hope I learn more about football this way!
I know the whole board is anxiously awaiting the results of week one. I will post them ASAP after monday night football. Some games will be decided before monday night is done. Me and the DonkeyPunchers are in a real barn burner right now......seperated by 1 point!!
im pretty stoked that i ended up putting chad pennington in instead of trent green, having green in against the bengals would have been a conflict of interests.

I know the refs tried saying he was pushed into Green, but that was a blown call. The KC guy barely touched the defender in the back about 5 yards before he hit Green. The defender did all he could to lay Green out even though Green slid feet first.
Not the dirtiest play I've ever seen, but there's no doubt it should have at least been a penalty.
the tackle was already in motion when he started to slide though, woulda been hard to avoid it. I didn't like the way it looked either, wish he woulda avoided it, but no penalty for sure.

That's not what the officials claimed, and I sure thought the qb was beginning his slide before the cincy dude dove.
god bless youtube. About the 10 second mark is the best view. To me it's pretty obvious that Green was going to slide, and you can see Geathers lower his shoulder to deliver the hit as they're both nearing the ground. They did both leave their feet at pretty much the same time. In the NFL though, tie always goes to the quarterback.
I don't know how exactly the rule reads (how much a sliding quarterback is deferred to) but it didn't seem like an illegal hit to me. More like bad luck with the "head bouncing off the turf" part.
I can't believe I actually scored another 30-something points Monday night though, dmbfan. You killed me this week, but as of Sunday I was down by a lot more!
