Madden on the Wii is SO MUCH FUN. I am so sick of each Madden barely improving over the others, but this one has such a different and cool control scheme that suddenly all the expert Madden button-mashers are zeroed out on newbie level. It's very cool. (And it contains mini-games the other Maddens didn't have)
So I just got a Wii a couple weeks ago and I love it. Resident Evil 4 owns my soul right now. Zelda is awesome as well. Anyone else have any good recommendations for games to get. I have the Warioware game, and it can be addicting, but I feel like I need to smoke crack in order to fully enjoy it. Super Paper Mario is also good fun.
Anyone see footage from E3 this year. The Wii Fit? Crazy sh!t they're developing for this thing. Here's the trailer for it...........
It looks too cute to be fun, but my boyfriend quickly took over my game, and I haven't reclaimed it since. It's like a point and shoot mixed with home demolition and the sound of very tiny squealing kittens.

I got elebits for me and my fiance is the one who plays it all the time. It's very cute but still lots of fun.
I am pretty sure we will be buying Wii Fit - it looks pretty damn cool.

I got a WII just before we left for Roo this year, so I couldn't even play it until we got back. Right now we only have kids games: Smooth Moves, Mario Party, Wiiplay, Wiisports, and Zelda. I was very tempted to get Resident Evil but I have to play alone and at night and, well I have to admit, I get scared! I have some RE games on PS2 and I can never play very long cuz I get all creeped out. I love it! ;D
Ok so I am a huge gamer, not hardcore, but biglou won't touch it and it makes me crazy. I thought maybe he'd try the Wii cuz it's more "physical" than just sitting around playing vids, but I have yet to get him to pick up a Wiimote.
^^^ That sucks. I got my grandpa and my dad to play the Wii Sports bowling. They loved it. My grandpa actually was saying that he should get one. You shoulda seen my grandmom's look when he said that So if he won't play that, there's probably no hope, cause everyone loves the Wii sports bowling. As for Resident Evil......It's amazing. I was enjoying Zelda immensely until I got RE4. Now Link has been shelved, for the time being. I've played all the RE games and this one is easily the best. The control scheme for the Wii makes it that much better. It's really freakin hard though. I've probably only gotten through 2 hours of the actual game, but it took me close to 10 hours, real time. I should just die a few times and continue to get easy mode, but that's not how I roll. I can't wait for Mario Strikers. It looks like it'll be the first good online game. And the new Madden, and Super Mario Galaxy. I love my Wii.
I take it back, I think he did say he tried bowling once, but unfortunately I wasn't there to witness it. I WILL get him to play: it is my mission!
I will probably get RE eventually. I'm curious about the controls with the remote. It probably won't make a difference. I'm kinda trigger happy and usually run out of ammo and then consequently get chowed on by a zombie. ;D I'm wondering about Trauma Center (I have it on DS) but my ex says it's exactly like the DS one, same scenarios and everything, which is really dumb.
Anybody have a PS3? I don't have one yet and I probably would never buy one at that price if it wasn't for Final Fantasy. I'm an addict.
