At the halfway mark of the season, I now feel comfortable saying that I officially endorse this show. It's not perfect (there's some bad acting and writing mixed in with the good), but its damn fun.
Hiro is really endearing. "I really need to find that sword!" was a great reaction to the dino picture.
I like when the show gets all gory and edgy for stretches and keeps you on your toes.
I don't like the Exposition Indian or the Petrelli's that much.
I can only handle following one TV drama at a time. So Lost is the one for me. I tried watching heroes one time, but I didn't find it that engaging. Maybe I'll watch it when it comes out on dvd. Lost is awesome though. The first part of the season was kinda weak, but this 16 episode run is gonna give the fans what they want. Mainly no breaks in between episodes. Seems like everyone is doing that now.

Heroes is kind of a good balance to Lost, although they each tend to reveal the weaknesses in the other through contrast (i.e. that Heroes doesn't have the complex psychology of characters that Lost does). But I've been really impressed with the intricate, multilinear storyline they've created on Heroes. Apparently it's been said by the creators of both shows that they are friends and have worked on other projects in the past... and that it's entirely possible that both shows exist in the same universe. That would be awesome, to say the least.
