My dad and i have season tickets and trust me, you have to see this guy in person. It just sucks that Leinhart is the posterboy for rookies. Who won the Rose Bowl? Who's 6-4 as a starter?
What happens if my tee shot lands on a bird's back and he carries it out of bounds but then is attacked by a larger bird who grabs the ball and drops it in the hole? Is that still a hole in one? 'Cause that's how I'm gonna play it.

Its hard to give someone who just plays special teams the award. I think he'll go to the pro bowl, but wont be roy. My vote would have to go to Marques Colston, if he can finish up the season strong. If not, theres no reason not to give it to Young, hes been a winner. Jones-Drew could also get it, hes really a dynamic player. I'd take him over Bush, he can do it all, AND can run any play, not just stretches and tosses. I did just notice Hester just got me into my fantasy playoffs.
If Colston were healthy, that would be one thing, but he's sat out the last couple games.
Look, I'm realistic and understand that a QB is more important to a team than a kick returner. Vince Young probably deserves it. But I have a huge man-crush on Devin Hester right now, so as a Bears fan, he gets my vote.
Let's talk defense though... the conversation begins and ends with Mark Anderson.

i was at the Giants game. F*ckin' A! inVINCEble! I love Vince. I was hoping we would grab him after the Rose Bowl game. I'm just glad we didn't pass on him, like all the pundits said to do. He's making the NFL experts look like f*cking IDIOTS.
He has the intagibles. I'm so excited for next year! Hopefully we can pull out these last 3 games. We have an outside shot at the playoffs (WAY outside) if we run the table. We need help, though we do have JAX and could bring them w/in one game of us.
I would put him as Rookie of the year, but I'm biased. He's the Rookie having the biggest impact on his team, that is FOR SURE.
Having lived in Austin for Vince's first two seasons at Texas, I have always loved the guy. Going to the games and seeing him, even in that very first game against North Texas, you knew you were seeing something special. That being said, I think Marques Colston should be ROY. Going the whole season as the best receiver on a team with Joe Horn and Devery Henderson, and the best rookie on a team with Reggie Bush, you have to be impressed. I don't think four injury plagued weeks out of a 16 game season should take him out of the number one spot. Remember, as good as Vince looks, he still has about as many ints as he does TDs thrown. He's a hell of a player and has the best future of any current offensive rookie, but I don't think he has had the best current season of any rookie.

I used to be a Titans fan until I moved from Chattanooga to Jacksonville this summer but I'll never be converted to a Gator fan! Maurice Jones-Drew for rookie of the year! Vince Young is pretty stellar though. Go Vols and Jags!

I think if Hester can do just a little on offense and defense, since they're trying to implement on both now, he could win it. If not, you have to give it to vince young just because he basically carrys his team, unlike any other rookie.

Vince Young should get it, because he is the most valuable to his team. They would have struggled to win 3 games without him. That being said how can you mention Jones-Drew and Bush without talking about Joseph Addai of the Colts. He has more rushing yards than any of the other rookies. He has a good chance of going over 1000 yards for the season. None of the others will accomplish that this year. Obviously I'm a Colts fan so I'm a little biased. Like I said though, Vince deserves to win it. I just think Addai should be mentioned. Edge James who?

Well with fred taylor out its a possibility jones-drew gets 1000, also he catches better, and returns kicks. I'd take td's over yards any day. Also, the jags are a running team, so hes more important to them then addai is to the colts. That being said, im almost positive a running back isnt getting it this year. You also cant rule out Colston, whos back.

sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2007/football/nfl/01/03/bc.fbn.nfloffensiverook.ap/index.html I think the voters got it down to a t, the order was really solid, and you cant really argue with it. Vince Young was totally deserving, and honestly, i think this guy could be the best ever. I like his running more then mike vicks because its not as gutsy or frequent, plus, he is developing into a very good passer, he already has a cannon. When vince young totally refines his mechanics, this guy has the vision to do it all.
