Brady is a really good QB with huge balls. Manning is a great QB with tiny balls. The guy is ultimately soft. It couldn't be more obvious. The Pats will beat him because of this as they have for years. Didn't we settle this already?
Not this time. I'm putting my money where my mouth is, too. Indy wins by more than 3 at home, for sure.
You must be high. Does anyone remember that everyone was saying exactly the same things before the last two times the Pats handed Peyton his ass?
Sooooo psyched for tommorrow. This is the biggest Bears game since I was nine years old in Jan. '86 and I am positively giddy. That game could go either way (unlike Pats-Colts which is a dead-solid-lock Pats victory), but I'm predicting the following: great game, I almost have a heart attack because of Rex and/or Hester's propensity for fumbling, Bears go to Miami because of Devin Hester's crazy ass and/or the sheer force of Brian Urlacher's will.
I have sung the Bears fight song (Bear Down, Chicago Bears) to my pregnant wife's belly every day for the last week, and my son's first outfit (Bears) has been propped in front of the TV since last weekend's game.

It sounds like joe horn isnt going to be ready by tomorrow, which hurts the saints, a lot. Neither is rodney harrison though. This isnt the team the previous pats won with, they're a lot more beatable.

I forgot the bears are probably the best team about going after and striping the ball. ;D Just so its clear, i had the bears winning this game, and the colts winning later. Lets see how this goes.
if the bears d can play like that 1 more time then i dont see how they can be beat. grossman is still the obvious weak link. but if the d can dominate and give them field position 3 or 4 times a game they are tough to beat no matter what grossman does. can you imagine the bears d if brown and harris were healthy?

2 for 2. Manning is solidifying himself as the best ever, he just needs to win the superbowl. If the colts play like they did in the second half, i have a feeling the superbowl will be a blowout. I'm taking the colts, they're just more hungry.

lol.... while it was a good comeback id hesitate to take it that far. seemed like more of a melt down by the pats d then anything else. i hate when a team gets up and then plays d not to lose and gives up 11 yard plays all the way down the field for the rest of the game. but credit where credit is due. the colts played a great second half. manning still needs to win 1 more game. and then do it atleast 3 more times before he reaches anywhere near best ever status.
Joe Montana 4 super bowls, 4 rings 11 touchdowns, 0 int 3 super bowl MVPs 127.8 passer rating
and it could have easily been 4 mvps. jerry rice got the other one for setting the super bowl record for most yards. something montana played a big part in.
bradshaws got 4 too. and lets not forget brady and aikman with 3. and theres elway. and marino. event hough he didnt get a ring. far from best ever. not even the best active qb in my opinion. although ill concede best qb this season if they win the superbowl.

more hungry?!?
hell, i wouldnt say that, you should see the emotion in this city right now, 21 years have been too long for Chicago. we are very much hungry.
you didnt see every Colt accepting the trophy like you did the Bears.....underdogs maybe, but it aint over yet...
two big things to watch for from both teams that could be deciding factors.....a Rex relapse (not unlikely), or the Colts D relapse back to giving up waaaaaaay too many rushing yards (also not unlikely)

Yeah, i was talking about the way the colts d played in the second half, other then special teams. I'm sure the bears fans are hungry, but they arent playing in chicago. Peyton Manning wants to win, and i think they're just sick of losing after making it so close. This is the bears first year anyone thought they would make it to the superbowl. It will definatly be an awesome matchup, i actually have no clue whos gonna win, but i still dont feel easy about grossman, at all.
Congrats to your Bears Ka Mai. I was hoping they'd win. They didn't make any major mistakes and sat the Saints down. Good work. But as for this........
Pats-Colts which is a dead-solid-lock Pats victory
.....I've got to say, don't ever count out Payton. He's got the heart of a lion, and a smile that heals sick children. Brady's time is up. It's Payton's turn now. ;D ;D ;D
well im certainly hoping for the bears. i think they can win if grossman plays a smart game. but after seeing what the colts did against the pats d in the second half im not sure. should be a hell of a game. was a definite confidence builder for peyton. he looked like he might cry in the first half. 6 quarters without a td in the playoffs. but id say the second half replaced all of that with confidence. and id say brady is far from done. he will be back. one game dosent make peytons career or end bradys.
Brady is quite the sexy man. Too bad that doesn't help them win, or maybe it does(rubs chin and thinks about the possibilities) ;D
EDIT: I think that's a decent line. There'll be alot of bets on the Bears to cover if it doesn't change. I think the Colts could beat them by more than that, when all is said and done.
I think the Colts will probably win by a good amount, honestly. As long as their newfound run defense holds up, they'll be able to keep the Bears low scoring, and I think the Colts have the type of offense to exploit the very few weaknesses in the Bears D....and yes, Tom Brady is hot
