im still watching. its gotten cheesy but its still entertaining and it still leaves me wondering whats gonna happen next. jack ripping peoples jugulars out with his teeth and ejecting bombers from subway cars as they explode is pushing the cheese factor though....and this "i dont know if i can do it anymore" stuff is up there too. but still one of my favorite shows. i cant wait to see what happens tonight. a friend downloaded the first 4 hours a weekago and he says that the first 2 were cheesy but that it gets real good in the 3rd and 4th.
so do they kill jack this year? i dont see them killing him. they are making a movie. so im guessing they will do another season after that and then kill him off. i dont see it ending without jack dying in some heroic way. maybe he becomes head of ctu or something though. keifer might want to keep a sure job in his pocket. all in all id have to say its hard for a show thats about the same thing with the same characters every season to remain entertaining and they do a hell of a job in that department.
I don't watch this show, and I never have just cause it seems so insane and cheesy. Although I would watch if they had a showdown between Jack Bauer and Chuck Norris. Chuck should roundhouse kick him and he should explode for no apparent reason, and that's how he should die
well i do agree, that would be a spectacular way for jack to die. what could be more heroic then taking on a chuck norris exploding roundhouse. this chick just wanted a kiss from the great one and look what she got.

I must admit i am a fan. Yeah you have to suspend your disbelief, but the writers always seem to keep it interesting. I think this season they are really trying to do something different in that the terror attacks seem plausible...like you could see this happenning sometime in the near future. Regardless, what an ending to last nights episode!
After links between the shows direction and fear tactics that some news and goverment agencys wanted to spread I new that I could never watch such a show.

ya the ending was a surprse. right at the end i thought that the father was going to stop the guy from detonating the nuke but gt shot and killed in the process, and i said thats it im done with 24 (that coupled with jack crying) but then the bomb went off. so im still watching. it just seems so far fetched for the president to be getting direct calls from terroists and then he negotiates with them time after time. but it is tv. and its damn entertaining. what yall think about jack smokin curtis? i couldnt figure out why no medics tried to save him. they all just went about their day and left him to hold his neck and bleed out.

yes, yes it was. with the four hour premiere, I was somewhat disappointed until the last 15 minutes with Curtis & the nuke. But they came out full speed this week!
Here's to hoping Mary-Lynn Rajskub makes an appearance at the Roo comedy tent!
