i havent been this excited for a movie in a long time. looks hilarious. what a perfect role for will. i cant wait to see it. i still have to see talladega nights too.
To be honest, I was disappointed. I had (wrongly) heard reports that it was going to be Will Arnet and Will Ferrell as the two skaters. I like the idea of two likeminded a-holes teaming up then an odd coupling with lots of homoerotic undertones. Been there, done that. Jon Heder doesn't do as much for me, so when I saw the trailer, my heart sank a little.
Yeah, Will Arnet would have been better. But I'll take him and Amy Pohler as the bad guys. It still is gonna be friggin awesome. Will Farrell could do the same movie 1,000 times, and I'd still go watch it, and be laughing my ass off.
I saw it today. It was funny, but not that great. I mean there were alot of great lines, and the part with Will Farrell as the wizard skating in the children's ice story was hilarious. Jon Heder got on my nerves. Will Arnett was great, but not in it nearly enough. I'd put this just below Talladega Nights. It was funny, but not worth repeated viewings, IMHO.
