Hey guys, I got some really bad news today. My mom's been diagnosed with breast cancer. The good news is that it doesn't appear to be severe at this juncture. Only one cyst and caught relatively early. The bad news is, of course, it's cancer and we don't know how serious it is or could be. So for those of you who pray, pray for my mom as she goes into surgery next Tuesday. Good vibes and positive thoughts are welcome too.
Early detection is key. My mom had a similar diagnosis, and post treatment, she's been in remission (without cancer) for twelve years. Best wishes to your mom Harry. Sending positive vibes... now.
Thanks for the thoughts, vibes & prayers. Today, they did the MRI and things are looking okay for now. We'll get the results back soon regarding her lymph nodes and whether or not the cancer has spread, but the doctor's best guess right now is that it's bad but not serious or life threatening cancer at this point. We're looking at a lumpectomy which is encouraging. It would save my mom further reconstructive surgery. Anyway, we'll be waiting on pins and needles for the results. Thanks again, and continue sending the thoughts, prayers and vibes her way.

Not in my prayers, but DEFINITELY in my thoughts! I'm been someplace very similar in the past and I know how bad it can get. I won't trivialize what your family is going through by telling my story, but I will tell you that you've got my support...and all of our support. Stay strong. Peace.
My mother had breast cancer the past year she is done with sergery and kemo and everything seems to be fine, But it is devistating.. I can not tell you how hard i cryed when I found out even though it was not a bad case of it. My best wishes go out to you and your mom be strong for her thats what counts!
