I'm flying tomorrow and i cant remember if you can bring food through airport security, no drinks, i know that. I've never brought food before, but it seems like a good idea, and would save me a few bucks. So if anyone knows the help would be appreciated, thanks.
I fly relatively frequently due to my gf working as a flight attendant and the one little tip would be to try and keep it limited to sealed things. I got some grief (my first ever serious security search) over a bunch of cheese curds, and the accompanying greasy cheese squirting out, I tried to jam into a ziploc bag. It was a bad idea to begin with, because they were gross when I got back to Denver, but I ate them anyway.
Also, don't forget that your toiletries have to be 3 ounces or less and have to be in a clear, one quart or smaller, ziploc bag. I always feel bad for the folks who get screwed on this. It's an odd regulation, to say the least.
Alot of it are people who don't check luggage. If I am just flying for a couple days I only take a carryon. Saves time and I don't need a big bag for a short trip.

cheese curds?? i am baffled as to what that means, and that it is actually edible.... sounds like something that would be part of the cheese making process... ok gonna have to get to wikipedia now cause i'm curious...
Why the hell do people carry-on their toiletries anyway? Just check your sh!t and you can bring whatever you like
I hate checking my bag. I prefer to go with my backpack and purse and not waste my time in the bag checking line or waiting for my luggage in my final destination. I also find it funny that you could bring a 3oz bottle of purfume(extremely flamible) and a pack of patches but you can't bring a regular sized bottle of lotion or lighters. This airport security thing is a joke anyways...they aren't stopping anything.
