Someone dying is always sad, but this was not a surprise at all. She was a total junkie and, honestly, i'm amazed that she out-lived Steve Irwin. I'm not trashing her or saying that she desrved to die or anything. I'm just pointing-out the obvious....You can't stay that f*cked-up, that long and not expect problems.

aparently, getting hitched to an older than dust oil tycoon has bad karmatic repercusions. If i was a betting man i'd say she OD'd on something. it's pretty sad, but i can't say i'm suprized.
Yeah, wtf?? I thought that was terribly sensational.
I started laughing when I heard the news today. Then I remembered she had a little kid. Then I realized that kid would be better off. Sad.
well thast some nasty stuff to say. all you know of her is what you have seen entertainment tonight or the national enquirer. or some reality tv character. i doubt her daughter is better off without her mother. and laughing when someone dies is not too cool either.
but i do agree that its not worlwide news. cnn has had it on all day. theyre treating it like its 9-11 or something. arent there wars going on? and why are our officials wasting all this time and money holding press ocnferences and what not? they wouldnt be wasting that time and money if it were you or i that died. seems like a waste of tax payers money if ever there was one. but eveyone wants to be on tv and write a book about it afterwards.
very good point. they cover the deaths in iraq for 30 seconds and move on to hour seven of anna nicole coverage. but somebodies watchng this crap and buying it all up or else it wouldnt be around.
Now there'll be a paternity suit, and a fight between her "husband", and the other guy who claims he was the father of her child, for all her money. Then they'll probably die. The love of money is the root of all evil. I heard that somewhere.
id say its not unlkely that this was murder. im sure it will come out as an od, just like her son. but it could be worth tens of millions to be her nusband or the father of her baby if her and her other child are dead. but then again its not unlikely that it was just an od. or something related to her radical weight loss.

I feel real bad for the little baby she is going to have to live in a world w/o her mom and brother and a nasty custody battle between the possible fathers. Anna's death was tragic but she put herself and feelings in front of her childs well being.
Anybody else get the feeling that the media's suddenly reverent attitude towards Anna Nicole's death has more than a little to do with guilt they might have for making a ton of money by exploiting and mocking her?

Hi highly doubt it's guilt. just making money on her again selling newspapers and what not. Even though the media pumped her up she more than embraced the spotlight. we just need to stop paying attention and supporting this obviously self-destructive behavior. tragic
great point specialist. You probably also won't see articles in the washington post claiming she should be spit on Like Arkin said about our soldiers. He said they should be spit on and are hired mercenaries....she'll get more respect than our nations real heros in the media.
arkin never said anything of the sort. he said the dude that was talking to him was saying the troops need to shut up and quit whining. to disagree with him and say he was wrong about that.. and the dude quoted arkin as saying it, its just not true. he never said anything about spitting on troops either. just the republican media spin on a quote taken greatly out of context. there was never any issue of him saying i wanna spit on troops, that was a description of his attitude based on the quote about shut up and quite whining, which was intentionally misquoted. leaving out the part where arkin said this was what the other guy was saying that and also leaving out the part where arkin says its wrong. he did call our troops mercenaries and apologized for it. the definiton of mercenary says that they have little or no concern for the country they are fighting for. so he admits that dosent apply to our troops. but they are people that are hired, and paid to be soldiers, by choice. just more of the same mis information that conservatives eat up like candy.
not sure why it was brought up in this thread anyhow. but wanted to point out its completely false. arkin can be a moron. but this stuff isnt true at all.

I said in this thread arkin called our tropps mercenaries and said we should spit on our soldiers (read his washington post blog benedict arnold) Then the genius dudewheresmycablebill says:

Then in the same paragraph states this:
he did call our troops mercenaries and apologized for it.
So which is it dude he said nothing of the sort or did he call our troops hired merc's? how can that be when u even say he did call our soldiers mercenaries but he aplogized. I don't care if he did backflips with a sparkler in his ass to apologize. he is a punk and should be condemed for ripping our heroes ...if u followed the thread DUDEwheresmycablebill u would see why I said what I said. Once again here comes DUDE starting nuts with me. Just another way way way far left person making excuses for horrible behavior
well i think it was obvious that i was talking about spitting on troops. and he explained what he meant about mercenaries. they are soldiers for money. but thats all i have to say about it. just wanted to throw the truth out there for those of us interested in it.

Boo hoo, karma caught up to a pill popping skank that married a corpse for the money.
damn there are some rude ass uncaring people here. did you know her? did she do something wrong to you?? you have some pretty vile feelings for someone youve never met. how can you say such nasty things about a human being when the only thing you know of her is what was on entertainment tonight or the national enquirer, or a character from a reality show? a human died. a young child lost her mother. and some of you are laughing and happy and calling her names. its sad. id watch the karma involved with saying such things. it will catch up with you too.
james brown popped pills, cheated on his wife, and beat women. yet if anyone said the things about him that are being said about anna they would probably be banned from the stie.

Many of them do it for the free education however. I know lots of people who joined the miliary because it was their only way of getting a college education, plus they got paid. I'm not saying that is the case for all, but for many it is.
