You sure they weren't just talking about how Favre wants Green Bay to trade for him? Cause I checked everywhere and there seems to be no mention of it.
What happens if my tee shot lands on a bird's back and he carries it out of bounds but then is attacked by a larger bird who grabs the ball and drops it in the hole? Is that still a hole in one? 'Cause that's how I'm gonna play it.
That sounds like an incredibly stupid move unless they're getting rid of donald driver, who was basically a top 5 receiver this year.
I dunno - most of Randys best seasons were when he had a possession receiver lined up on the other side (Cris Carter) - I think the only chance he has of returning to his original form is as a #2 receiver. I like the move if the Packers can pull it off -

Supposedly, Favre said that he would love for Green Bay to trade for Moss. If that meant that they would have to get rid of Driver, I don't think that Favre would want Moss than. If playing for Favre is what it takes to get Moss to return to his old form, than I would love to see it. Moss and Driver as the two main recievers, with Jennings in the 3rd reciever slot. It would definitely be a gamble though.

I had heard rumors that The Pack was thinking about this. At first I thought "WHAT!!!???", but then I let it sink in. Moss isn't nearly as bad as T.O. in terms of drama and off-field B.S. So I can live with it. And Moss sucked in Oakland b/c he had a QB in Brooks who should have been jobless about 3 years ago. I think it would be ok if Moss ends up wearing green and gold, but I would hate to see it at the expense of trading Driver. Sidebar: I am still a little (lot) bitter at Javon Walker.

yeah it is genetic from my father. I am from central IL originally. and trust me I took a LOT of sh.it from people the last month or so here in Chicago. I was the one and only person in the bar (out of about 300) for the Super Bowl who was standing up and yelling for the Colts. I was very unpopular that day; and the previous play-off games.
For those of you reading this who may not know, Green Bay and Chicago have the longest running professional football rivalry ever. They were two of the first teams to be created. So no GB fan is EVER allowed to root for Chicago, and vice versa.
No comments from the peanut gallery about the arrests.
Well sh;t, Drugs, that's the only thing I could think about to comment about the Bengals on. I mean, I'd talk about their performance in the playoffs, but there wasn't one
damn i hate being a lions fan. but im a farve fan. so i hope moss helps out.
atleast its coming up on the lions fans favorite time of the year. draft day!!!! we are always getting top picks!! they dont help. but its exciting to get them. looks like we will get joe thoams from wisconsin. which is good. we need an o-line. but id prefer brady quinn. we never shoulda passed on drew brees. no matter what its bound to be the most exciting day of te year for us lions fans
also im betting alan branch and leon hall go above any buckeyes ;D i dont think the bucks will have anyone taken in the top 10 a small victory. but ill take what i can get
no way!!!!! he wont even make the first round!! ginn will go way ahead of smith. i think pitcock and gonzales will bot go before troy does. seriously he might even drop to the third round. second rounder for sure. i wonder if a heisman winner has ever gone that far down before.
Being a drunk at this point, for some reason I got Jamarcus Russell and Troy Smith confused....I realize this now and apologize for mt error I don't know what I was thinking, I've read Kiper's draft board over and over again and somehow still was mistaken. You're right, Ginn will go first round, Smith will fall way back. My bad
no worries. ya i wish the lions wouldnt have won that last game. jamarcus russell is a hell of a qb. but in the end i think its just as likely that quinn will be great as it is that russell will be great. but i certainly dont see millen burning another top pick on a qb. joe thomas is a good get if thats who the lions take. looks like cleveland will get quinn. maybe not though. they need al sorts of stuff.
i wonder if a heisman winner has ever gone that far down before.
I think Gino Torretta (probably spelled that wrong) went like 6th round...
EDIT: Did a little research, this from wiki: Despite his huge collegiate-level success, Torretta was not a top NFL draft pick, and his NFL career was fairly unremarkable. He was not selected until the 7th round in the 1993 NFL draft by the Minnesota Vikings and was not afforded a chance to play at all that year. In 1994, Torretta was on the Vikings' roster, and then was picked up by the Detroit Lions. As was the case in 1993, he failed to play at all in 1994, serving the entire season in a backup role with the Lions.

Also from wiki...
His only chance to play in an NFL game came in the 1996 season finale when he came off the bench for the Seahawks against the Oakland Raiders. He immediately threw a 32-yard touchdown pass that put Seattle ahead, leading the team to victory.
I wonder why he was never given a real chance anywhere?
One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain. So hit me with music. Hit me with music, now, yeah. Hit me with music. Brutalize me with music.
i hate when they dont give them a fair chance. i hated watching andre ware sit on the lions bench and waste away. meanwhile mediocre qb's did nothing for us. what a waste. i thought he could have been a huge talent if he was developed.
thast too bad though. i was hoping troy would set a new record. but there is no way he will go to round 7. even im willing to admit that ;D
