no way in hell I could even have a top 50 list much less 15.....yall must have a limited collection of music cause I have soooooo many favorites and regulars.
keeping in mind that nothing will ever top the 150 or so pearl jam albums i own, here are 15 i truly love, so i guess they're numbers 151 to 165 or so:
violent femmes - violent femmes (who doesn't love it??) temple of the dog - temple of the dog (c'mon; eddie, chris, stone, jeff and matt) u2 - the joshua tree (still haven't found... was my grad song, and i liked high school) the tragically hip - fully completely (i am canadian) stabbing westward - darkest days (met them in an elevator once) slipknot - vol. 3: (the subliminal verses) (vermilion is my most frequently played song these days) tool - 10,000 days (actually cried the first time i heard it) chris cornell - euphoria morning (amazing, chris cornell is almost as godlike as ed vedder) tom petty & the heartbreakers - anthology through the years (best greatest hits album ever!!) queens of the stone age - songs for the deaf (only when played loud) my morning jacket - it still moves (my fave, my friends don't get it, mmj not huge in canada) smashing pumpkins - greatest hits 2001 (zero is the best driving song there is!!) leonard cohen - the future (the men they dance on the polka-dots, any album with a song with the word polka-dots needs to be on this list) methodical breed - outbreak (these guys are friends of mine, check out their myspace if you like hardcore death metal) haut chachis - knocked upside the head (these guys are also friends of mine, no way to really describe them, except that they should write music for quentin tarantino movies, also on myspace, google them, they're wicked)
as far as honorable mentions go, i am very fond of the 2005 warped tour compilation, and soundtracks, lots of soundtracks
