Good call, but that's for Bonnaroo pics, so this thread words great for the runoff...
Awesome pictures, Ron! The gf and I were rolling around today for some lunch and errands. It was SUCH a clear day, so I can really appreciate the shots. There wasn't an ounce of haze over the peaks. During the afternoon, I was Scotch Guarding up the tent for Langerado and was able to bask in the sun and soak up all those spectacular mountain views for a couple of hours...
Maybe I'll throw myself to the dogs, but my back's not to the wall Maybe I'll lay some bricks for the man, but the days just aren't that long So if I settle back and chill will I see far enough to feel the angel's dream? I thought it was the Story of the World!

Yeah summer sure would be nice. Here in Minneapolis, we had a week of 45deg weather, and then 2 weekends in a row with snow (20+ inches). I love winter, but once I get that first taste of spring, it's real hard to not get kinda mad...although the University did close and we got to make a kick a** snow fort in our front yard.

Those are all such beautiful pics! I so need to travel more!
Here's some from the campground we visit as often as possible. When I was a kid, it was my favorite place to go. Paint Creek, Tennessee. Timing never allowed me to get that beautiful shot on the way down the mountain, but I'm determined this year!
*crosses fingers that I've made them small enough* These are from August '06.
The swimming hole up from the campground. People climb the cliff and jump into the water, which I think is insanely scary to watch! ;D
The creek surrounding the campground.
At the swimming hole. People use it as a waterslide.
The view through the campground. The foliage is still nice, but a tad thinner than it used to be. It was flooded and basically destroyed. Took a few years for them to set things to right and open it up again.
Always an awesome, awesome time. The kiddos adore it! They've already been asking to go again. Can't wait for the warm weather!
