convicted of 4 of the 5 counts .... i know that is political, but at this point of history in the US, no matter what side you are on, you should speak up ... cr*****
i agree. it will be in appeals until bush is out and he will pardon him. its another prime example of how our justice system dosent work at all. but it is better then a not guilty. no matter what happens to libby its a shame. i think he only did what he was told to do. cheney and rove should be going to prison.
i think the whole presidential pardon thing is crazy. and most definitely a president shouldnt be able to pardon anyone that was a part of his administration. that is one of the dumbest things i have ever heard. american laws are so silly. it makes me sick. seriously physically ill to my stomach.

The funny thing is he wasn't even found guilty for outing a cia operative. he was found guilty of lieing under oath and obstruction of justice. He was punished for the cover-up. Not the actual crime. The best part is if he would have just cooperated from the start he may not have been found guilty b/c the courts haven't been able to determine even if the cia operative was techinally classified as "covert"
He will be pardoned for sure..........presidential pardons are cool!!
yep, i can see him being pardoned ... if i didnt have some faith in the govt, i would say him and bush made a deal that if he was the fall guy, they would pardon him ..... the thing that gets me somewhat is the right is saying "well clinton gave a bunch of pardons" ... remember when we were growing up .. mom said "TWO WRONGS DONT MAKE A RIGHT" .... cr****

^^ almost every president on his way out of office uses his power to pardon a few people. Nothing new just presidents being presidents. it is weird who they decide to pardon. Clinton pardons mark rich (big crook and tax evader) although big contributor to the clinton's....and BUSH will pardon our boy scooter...well we know his story......pardon me I just puked on myself "GOD BLESS AMERICA)
WASHINGTON -- Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich acknowledged he was having an extramarital affair even as he led the charge against President Clinton over the Monica Lewinsky affair, he acknowledged in an interview with a conservative Christian group.
"The honest answer is yes," Gingrich, a potential 2008 Republican presidential candidate, said in an interview with Focus on the Family founder James Dobson to be aired Friday, according to a transcript provided to The Associated Press. "There are times that I have fallen short of my own standards. There's certainly times when I've fallen short of God's standards."
Gingrich argued in the interview, however, that he should not be viewed as a hypocrite for pursuing Clinton's infidelity.
lol...its between this and rush's drug addiction for this years lifetime achievement award for hypocrisy.
