Bonnaroo is ment to bring people from all walks of life together. We all need to stop the fighting and learn to love each other for all the differences that we possess. I am going to stand up and say that I am glad that I live in a world that allows me to enjoy something so magical as Bonnaroo. So instead of fighting and taking the fact that we live in a world where we can voice our opinions for granted lets love each other and learn from each others differences. I will start this thread (and hopefully everyone will join in) by stating what makes me unique and different in my views and opinions. I AM A CHRISTIAN THAT BELIEVES IN THE POSSIBLITY OF MANY GODS. I ADMIRE BUDDA. I MEDITATE TO GET AWAY FROM MY DOG. I want this thread to be a place where everyone can voice their opinions and NOONE will degrade another person for their beliefs. So go ahead let it all out!!

I'm at war with my sociology research paper that's due in 11 hours...maybe if I rub it the right way it'll spawn some extra pages. I hope they're smart pages.
keep my eyes open, aware and alert. let not the feeling of caring desert. I need to be free from the cloud that surrounds me. the light to my sight seems much darker these days. the haze creeps in without knowing. we need to keep growing, each day sowing the seeds of engagement the way meant for us. for on it we thrive and so we must strive to stay awake for there is too much at stake.

I too am a Christian though I believe there are many paths to God. Just seek Him with Love in your heart. Love is what it's all about. (That and the hokey-pokey)

I believe when we die, we're dead. I believe God intended this so we can appreciate our time on Earth. I believe S/He envies our finite existance sometimes, in a sad, lonely way that only an eternal, omniscient, omnipotent being can truly comprehend.
Maybe I'll throw myself to the dogs, but my back's not to the wall Maybe I'll lay some bricks for the man, but the days just aren't that long So if I settle back and chill will I see far enough to feel the angel's dream? I thought it was the Story of the World!

I'm an idealist just like you, but not religious at all. I was however brought up in the church. If you believe in the possibility of other gods, then youre not a christian.
One of my favorite memories from Roo last year was something my friend said upon arriving with us. "People in 3rd world countries are forced to live like this, but this is how we vacation?"
Hey, religious differences, hate, racism and anything else you want to throw in are currently a very real part of life. All I ask is that when people come to Bonnaroo they check those thoughts at the gate.
I was born in the back seat of a Yellow Cab in a hospital loading zone and with the meter still running. I emerged needing a shave and shouted 'Time Square, and step on it!
