I'm from the DFW area as well, but would live in Austin over any other city in Texas if I had the choice. That said, I can't wait to get the hell outta here. Every time we go on vacation, we come back wanting to finish up the house so we can sell it and move to where we visited. We're still in the house ;(
DFW here as well, born and raised! Springtown to be more specific. I love it our here in the country, everyone tends to not hate on me (hope so, i'm trying to teach their kids). There are deff THOSE types, but its pretty much becuase they realize they are being phased out.
