i am not a big tv person, but i never miss 24. that said, last night i worked at a show and had to tape it, but hadn't changed the time from the time change, so when i got home i went to watch and had taped the local news. grrrrrrr.

The greatest cocktease in tv history...man, that second season was as good as any tv series I've ever seen. I've heard rumors come and go about them doing a miniseries that would tie up the loose ends of Book One and perhaps lead to the start of Book Two. I don't think it will happen, but there's always hope...

I read "somewhere" that it was cancelled, in part, because it was the most expensive series HBO ever produced. The sets, locations, cars, costumes and sh*tloads of extras. Not to mantion the fact that they were only able to film 2 months a year. <I'm assuming that is due to location but, i'm not sure.
A mini-series would be great! Better yet, give me a full-fledged movie!
^^^Yeah, it still raised a ruckus cause Rome cost nearly twice as much as Carnivale and essentially replaced it. I just think that ending to Season two blindsided a lot of people and raised the demand for a third season. I know over 50,000 people wrote in protest letters the first month the show was cancelled. I also heard there were some legal issues involving Knaupf and a guy who claimed his ideas were stolen for the show. A dark cloud surrounded that show ending in general...

I think a movie wouldnt work, because you really cant speed up the pacing of Carnivale, its just too much stuff going. I am definatly pissed that they basically cancelled it because it was too exspensive, then decided to replace it with Rome. Carnivale was awesome while it lasted though, but talk about blue balls...
