I'm sure that you are all aware of the recent attempt to insure that the absoulute worst singer competing on "American Idol" wins. I think that this a noble experiment, personaly. Not only does it shine a light on the arbitary nature of a natioanl call-in talent show but, It just makes it more interesting. I mean, what would happen if an utterly talentless person were to win a record deal, public appearances and the ridculous title of "American Idol"? Would the producers push and promote him as zealously as promised? Wouldn't they have to? Regardless, it would shake things up.....and that is ALWAYS a good thing!
So, Please fellow Inforooers, join with me and the millions of others and... VOTE FOR THE WORST!
Make SANJAYA our next "American Idol"!

I share in your support of this fine institution that undermines what is an utterly ridiculous program which sucks content and context from our national arts consciousness.

Apparently, I havent'. Could someone tell me if its not too much trouble or send a link?
By watching crap like American Idol, you are just encouraging them to make more crap.
well, dont they get TV ratings from the group audience with the black boxes on their TV's? as long as you dont haveo ne of these or dont take a poll saying you watch american idol, they wont know you watch it. i watch for the frist few episodes to get ina good laugh and then its back to History channel.
im surprised anyone wathces it enough to know contestants by name. although i must admit i know of sanjaya. but only because apparently cnn and larry king think idol is world news. i love larry king in real interviews. but damn he spends alot of time on american idol and anna nicole. i think they should move his show to E! so it dosent interfer with real news. and id assume that a vote for anyone encourages them to conitnue making this show.

Just to clear things up: I really only know of Sanjaya from "The Soup" and "Best Week Ever".(Although I did somewhat familiarize myself with his awesome talent and limitless charisma in the early 'look how bad they suck' episodes)
For anyone interested in this proposal: 1.)Voting is free 2.)You can vote for something 2 hours after the show ends 3.)You don't have to watch a single episode (I will post the # to vote for him here) (You really should though. This guy is Hilarious!)

^And They're going to keep making this bullshit show for many, many years. Why not make it interesting......And hey, if we can ruin one in the process, that's just a bonus! ;D
That website is hilarious - I thought I was gonna pee in my pants reading some of the comments that have been posted. I cannot believe that people can take a TV show so seriously
