Damn those Mets I hate them with a passion already. Im praying the Phillies can keep pace. I think the Dodgers have a much better chance of puttin the Mets in their place, in the playoffs of course. The Phillies will probably get the wild-card, but the Dodgers are goin to the Series this year. I'm sayin it now.
Also the Yankees will be fighting for their playoff lives, because Boston will win the division handily

As a recent Boston transplant, I'm pretty sure they'd throw me out of the city if I didn't post this.

2 words, bring it
Just so you know, I don't hate the Yankees. I save all my hatred and vile, putrid, disgust for the Mets. I really could care less about the AL. The Dodgers will beat em, doesn't matter who they are.

World Series Champion Cardinals fan here. Went to Opening Night last night, and it was f-ing crazy. People were partying in the streets at noon yesterday. I LOVE baseball season. ;D
not all yankee fans are bandwagon jumpers.....i have loved the yankees since birth, it's genetics...... and i stuck by them when i was growing up in the 80's and they sucked.......
What happens if my tee shot lands on a bird's back and he carries it out of bounds but then is attacked by a larger bird who grabs the ball and drops it in the hole? Is that still a hole in one? 'Cause that's how I'm gonna play it.

GO YANKEES!!!!!!
I know. I was just joking. I just kinda find it peculiar that there seems to be a ton of Yankee fans all over the country and they grow more everyday. I mean you live in Philly. What do you have against the Phillies? Besides their ability to constantly find a way to loose games that are well within their grasp
nothing against the phillies.....they even give me goosebumps sometimes:-) i went to lots of games last year and i'll cheer for them as long as they're not playing my yankees :-) i lived in baltimore before i moved here and even supported the orioles, they sucked so bad that i didn't have to worry too much about the competition

Try being a Tiger fan since birth and having the year after they win the world series for being born (born in 85), I get blamed for their demise...But this year could change some things...lost opening day but im not worried, still the best team in baseball, IMbiasedO...

I see noone here has yet mentioned the best game today. That is the Brewers win over the Dodgers. Ben Sheets pitched a 2 hitter, and retired 22 straight batters at one point. Not a single walk was issued. Meanwhile the hitters went on a tear, only one of the runs was a HR, which makes me happy that we don't need the HR to score runs. Playoffs and WS run here we come!!
I'm a Rangers fan. I am of the opinion there is nothing worse in major league baseball than being a Rangers fan. We have 1 playoff win. We've only been three times and each time the Yanks kicked our ass. You're pretty much guaranteed 100 degree heat any game you go. Your team never has good starting pitching, and all your childhood heroes were probably on steroids.
The highlight of my fandom: Nolan Ryan kicking Robin Ventura's ass.
Ben Sheets with a 2 hit complete game! Mangager Ned Yost said it may be the best game from top to bottom he's ever managed...it's finally feeling good to be a Brewers fan. Im 23 and they've had 25 years of no playoff baseball. Good defense and solid hitting
