Maybe I'll throw myself to the dogs, but my back's not to the wall Maybe I'll lay some bricks for the man, but the days just aren't that long So if I settle back and chill will I see far enough to feel the angel's dream? I thought it was the Story of the World!
89% Dixie ..holy crap. I guess that makes sense, because I've lived in Alabama all my life. It kind of surprises me though, because everyone here says I don't have much of an accent and that I don't sound Southern. Hmm. I'm not a redneck, I swear!
I found it interesting that the test said that "you'uns" is a West PA thing. While that is true, it is actually an Appalachian thing, ranging from PA thru VA, KY and TN. Many (most) people where I grew up (East TN) said you'uns. Many of my friend today still do. I've always considered it a Hillbilly thing.

I do too, troo. I grew up in Winston-Salem, NC, then moved to Boone, NC, where I heard it for the first time...usually from the people coming over from eastern TN. Now I live in Johnson City, TN and hear it all the time!
