I've got a bunch of old electronics lying about.. if you think you can make a time machine capable of delivering me to say.. june 1 or so.. I'll gladly donate them... 69 days 11 hours 9 minutes and 11 seconds is far too long to wait..
I'd definately get a flux capacitor and some electronics to make it look like the docs, too.. that'd be sick.. imagine seeing some dude speed past you on a highway with a fully decked BTTF DeLorean with the sides lit up like it was about to timewarp..
alright, so heres the plan.. we'll "borrow" that dudes delorean.. make it into a time machine(poopzilla is providing the flux capacitor), and we'll all travel to June 1.. or even 10.. to await roo.
Oh, uhh, someone has to volunteer to come BACK from the future though, with that dudes DeLorean. You've gotta then dismantle the time machine and park the Delorean where it was so he doesnt notice it was gone.

wooz, you're not thinking fourth dimensionally! if we go into the future to 'roo, there'll be 2 versions of us! you won't be able to stay even though its such a short jump, everyone who goes -must- come back. and since you have a time machine, you have as much time to do it as you could ever want ;D
Maybe I'll throw myself to the dogs, but my back's not to the wall Maybe I'll lay some bricks for the man, but the days just aren't that long So if I settle back and chill will I see far enough to feel the angel's dream? I thought it was the Story of the World!
But if we go into the future, doesn't that mean we 'leave' this reality and then come back to it at june 1?
Now, heres where it gets interesting... what if we were to take a time machine to roo, see roo, chill for a few days, then go back and see roo again? see the sets we missed, chill and meet new people, etc? Now.. what if we went back and saw it a third time? Went back to roo '02.. 03.. etc?
It would be even more interesting if our 'other' selves were there.. can you imagine trying to avoid 2 of you(so you didnt cause a paradox or something) while.. probably fairly messed up?

yeah, thats kind of how i figured time travel would have to work too if it exists, but thats not how it went down in the movie, so i'm just re-using their explanation or lack thereof

c'mon be realistic here people, time travel would take way to much energy, and would be prohibitively expensive. however, i think ive come up with a solution that will work, you need to be cryogenicly frozen. then at the start of june we'll bring you down to tennesse, and after two weeks in the tennesse sun you should be fully thawed out and ready to party.

How about astral projection? Go OOB (Out-Of-Body), shoot forward 2 months, enjoy the show, find your future self trippin' and play a mind-f*ck ("man, I swore I saw myself floating above the stage when Tool was playin'!"). Then come back, wait 2 months and do it all again. No breaking of the basic laws of Newtonian or Quantum physics, you get to catch more sets, and you only need to buy 1 set of tickets!
