I dont know if it is because of the police thread, another thread, or if its just someone trying to be a jack@ss but I was on Jambase just now and saw this.
Maybe I'll throw myself to the dogs, but my back's not to the wall Maybe I'll lay some bricks for the man, but the days just aren't that long So if I settle back and chill will I see far enough to feel the angel's dream? I thought it was the Story of the World!

Well if you read through most of those comments it looks like it couldve been any one of those guys/girls as well. That caveman guy has it out for bonnaroo and tool.

well the cop in that thread sent me a pm saying that he had no intentions of going to roo. he was here gathering "intel" but he wasnt trying to bust anyone. whatever that means. so it might not be that far from the truth. its changed my perception of inforoo. no more roo stories from me. taking my pic down too.
they are everywhere!!! just becasue im paranoid dosent mean they arent out to get me!!

Man, those were some harsh comments on that link! It always amazes me the extent people will go to to talk about something they hate and don't participate in.
Just to let you know I am not a cop. But once I had this dream where these two cops with baby oil came in my house............ah well I may want to keep that dream a secret between my therapist and me..

heck if i know. but thats what he said. he said it wasnt for the purpose of busting anyone. he said he reads lots of threads to gather intel becasue he interested in hearing what people are talking about. dosent add up to me. but if a cop was doing soemthin silly it seems unlikely he would announce hes a cop. either way i think its shady. i guess i was nieve to think that infroo wouldnt have that going on.

I really woudnt consider this "bad inforoo press", press would define that it is actual news. Its just a bunch of shitbags on a jambase forum. By shitbags, i mean those guys who bash all things bonnaroo, yet still feel it necessary to waste their lives posting on a forum dealing with a festival they cant stand. And doing so from their mommy and daddys computer no-less.

why the government feels it necessary to worry about hippies with grass, when there are pederasses out there touchin little boys booty holes, is completely beyond me. goddamn priorities are F*CKED!
ya ive told stories i wish i hadnt now. oh well. nothing too bad. but in the future i will be more mindful.
not to rehash anything... but is this respectable? is this protecting and serving? is this an invasion of your privacy? is it a complete waste of time? not really asking for responses. no need to go down that road again. just something to think about.

Now seriously I have been saying how police watch messageboards and that people needed to shut up about certain things for a while now. And all I ever got was PM"s bitching me out calling me a board nazi, people giving me bad karma, and basically trying to make it look like I am nuts.
Now after this police officer "gathering intel" and this comment on Jambase you all will see that this is THE INTERNET. Its public for all the world to see. Thats why I dont want my name, picture, or public discussions on what hotel I am at on Wednesday or where and when I will meet people.
