Well, I don't really care if they know what hotel I will be staying in...I haven't said anything about anything that I may or may not do. Even if I did, they wouldn't know what I look like...can't really tell from my avatar.
But, there are those who have said some stuff and maybe they should rethink...

They're just trying to avoid any unwanted attention. We all let little things slip here and there. The mods are very forgiving here pertaining to stuff like that. We all know were most of us stand on the subject.

I wouldn't worry too much about that as the county and Bonnaroo have a pretty good relationship. Not like some of the Vegoose horror stories I've heard about cops busting into hotel rooms.

Just so everyone knows. I am actually a cop. A Hot Cop, I've never done any hot policing though.

yeah...I mean, seriously. Cops know that anybody in any hotel within a 30 mile radius of the place (probably more) are gonna be kids going to bonnarroo...and the things that happen in Bonnaroo will happen outside of Bonnaroo as well. I don't think (or I don't hope) there will be trouble for a lot of folks...as long as they aren't stupid.

I'm proud of this message board, an most of the good people that post here. Good entertaining and informative posts too! Take Jambase's message posts as an example, full of stupid, STOOPID comments, the word ignorant doesn't come halfway close to capturing the lack of sense some of these folks use when talking so negative about things they don't really even understand, they openly expose their stupidity when they type useless negative rants. I'm just glad we got some people on here who actually know what they are talking about, and don't just post the first dummsh*t thought that pops into their head.
also, remember that anything you say on any messageboard will end up in google cache (aka the secret NSA database) and will be viewable by anyone, anywhere, forever. I've heard of more than one story about employers checking potential employees myspace and facebook profiles and stuff like that.
not trying to get too paraniod about it, just sayin though, there aint no such thing as privacy on the internet.

Now seriously I have been saying how police watch messageboards and that people needed to shut up about certain things for a while now. And all I ever got was PM"s bitching me out calling me a board nazi, people giving me bad karma, and basically trying to make it look like I am nuts.

Beyond that I havent ever hidden the fact that we are friends neighbors and business partners. I have said many many times that we will be at Bonnaroo together. Whats so hard to figure out? I cant be the same guy that I will be at Bonnaroo with.

well the cop in that thread sent me a pm saying that he had no intentions of going to roo. he was here gathering "intel" but he wasnt trying to bust anyone. whatever that means. so it might not be that far from the truth. its changed my perception of inforoo. no more roo stories from me. taking my pic down too.

Well I don't think too many of us have to worry. If it true that's, why we try to keep the "Dude who's got my nugs!" stuff low. People got busted at Jam Cruise for talking about it on a message board. Why wouldn't they show up here? It wouldn't surprise me if we have more cops than him. Although I think he was messing with you Dude after reading through the thread where you and him went back and forth I think it was a shot to mess with you.
I wouldn't stress about it, the police know stuff goes on at roo, they probably check in to various message boards to see how people are sneaking stuff in.

ya its probably someone just messing around. i also got a pm just a bit ago from someone with 4 posts asking me about getting hooked up with "stuff" at roo. its been a strange day. but i am not worried. i am not overly concerned.

or unless the authorities already have enough of a case against you to get a warrant and force the admins to release your data history. they would definitely have to have evidence outside the board though for that.

So inforoo is "Narc City" now, I dont about that guy but this site has helped me out so much for getting ready for roo. I have to thank everyone here for helping me out, and possibly have the best experience I can have for a roo rookie. Screw the naysayers, this site rocks.

This whole thing started in the "ween" thread. Now it has snowballed into some pricks starting crap. The only common theme seems to be DUDEWHERESMYROO is heavily involed in all. However he just said his opinion (whether u like it or not)...But I aggree with DUDE on this one someone saying: "will both be at 'roo" and other creepy shit is fuck#d up.
It seems the contest for a free ticket and tent along with a link posted on jambase and other places to the board has really sent the freaks in motion.
This will be the best year yet for 'roo. They just boug t the farm. Trust me when I say they worked out a lot of shit with the city (they know what goes on). there's no way they would buy this place if they thought in anyway there festival will turn into the wakarusa and others nightmare. This year is a welcoming party and there is no way Bonnaroo and manchester are going to make headlines by such as Police headline the 'roo massive busts......hell no it's going to sound just like this ....."arrests down from last year".......Just like last year.....In two months let's party our ass off. This festival is certified...peace
Well, I do have to own up to having a shirt that reads "Makisupa Police Academy" on the back. It gets me in trouble alot too, b/c 99% of people on god's green earth have no idea where (or what) Makisupa is.

same here. i dont know how likely it is but they will shoot directly to the top of my must see list. al and i both went to the same school, oneonta. i saw my first moe. show there when they came to play in 01 and was hooked. i have the show if anyone wants. f'ing nuts.
Actually from what I hear the Coffee County police are pretty cool. Especially now because Bonnaroo just gives them like 10's of thousands of dollars a year just for helpin out and dealin with there nonsense. Any small town police dept. that gets funding like that from someone is going to side with them. What you guys really need to worry about is the Tennessee Highway Patrol and State Troopers. There the REAL crooks out to get you and screw you on every front just for shits and giggles. Remember the scene in Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas where the highway patrollman asks for a kiss from Hunter. Yeah, there like that, so be aware, and keep your lawyer at your side at all times.
