Thanks for posting this and introducing me to the term permaculture or PERMAnent agriCULTURE. The concept has been around for ages and civilization for the most part has been devolving into the large corporation way of poisons and artificial fertilizers and chickens who grow up in a 1X1 foot cage and poop out eggs that have hormones.
If mankind doesn't learn how to return to a cyclical way to sustain ourselves I'm afraid we are as doomed as our precious ozone layer unless we take immediate action.
These are principles I learned in the early 70's living in CA as a young woman. The things I learned were not new, just new to the society at the time. I remember the first Earth Day. I hope more of the politicians and others who make decisions for us take note and figure out a way for this to be encouraged to take place.
