Going to see hot Fuzz tomorrow. anyone else heard of this or looking forward to it?
It was directed by Edgar Wright and stars Simon Pegg and Nick Frost (The guys who made Shaun of the Dead)
If you liked SotD, then I think you would like this as well. i have been looking forward to this for about 2months. It is in limited release though, so we have to go all the way to Nashville at Opry Mills to see it.

yeah, i actually saw both the guys who wrote/starred in it or whatever on jimmy kimmel this wednesday because i was watching to see killswitch engage perform.
the one guy actually had 'hot fuzz' written on his forehead in marker...was an interesting was to promote the movie
Maybe I'll throw myself to the dogs, but my back's not to the wall Maybe I'll lay some bricks for the man, but the days just aren't that long So if I settle back and chill will I see far enough to feel the angel's dream? I thought it was the Story of the World!
So what's the word?? I'll be catching this shortly.
Well actually we decided not to go Saturday. With it all the way at Opry Mills. I am thinking that it will play in Murfreesboro in the next week or two and we will catch it there.

I'm not particularly interested, but I felt the same way about Shaun of the Dead which later turned out to be one of my favorite movies of that year. I think I'll give this one a go too, but probably on DVD just to be safe. With any luck this is just another case of them making a trailer I don't like and a movie I love.

*bump*
I saw this on Friday night. I don't know if I've ever been as fulfilled by a movie in my entire life. I went in expecting alot, and I came out getting so much more than I had expected. I highly recommend it.

I LOVED Shaun of the Dead, and was a bit dissapointed with Hot Fuzz, though I did end up liking it. My favorite part was the swear box because all the swears were mixed with symbols like "F*%K, S#!T, etc" but "see you next tuesday" was just spelled out correctly.
