pavano sucks! its about this time each year that we've had him that he's gone on the dl for the year. on sportscenter this morning they said he gets 5.8 mil per win since they signed him. i forget how much per start but i think it was like $1200 per pitch. thank god next year is his last of the 4 year 40 mil deal he signed.

Clemens is now officially a money whore.
The Yanks haven't done very well lately with their so-called superiority. How many rings have they bought in this century? only '00? I feel so bad that so much money is spent with no results
Although I will admit a few other teams have been doing a good job of paying the luxury tax lately.

No Clemens isn't a mercenary, he did it for the thrill of winning a Championship ring, wait he already has that. He must be doing it for his teammates, but he's not traveling with the team on days he won't be pitching....I had a point oh yeah It's that you can buy championships by throwing money at the problem its working for the Yankess and it works for the Knicks too. I mean look at how well the Knicks did this past year with the highest salary of any team in the NBA. But I digress anyhow I wish the yankees the best of luck and I hope to see them in the playoffs vs. the BoSOX that is got to be one of the greatest rivalries in the history of sports.

My mother's day gift was a bosox hat to bring with me. I shall wear it with pride and not hold too much against all those who love the pin-stripes. LOL
I am the biggest Yankees fan I know but I still think Roger's a tool. I hate how he retired a few years back with the yanks only to pop up 2 weeks later in Houston. That and the "I'll decide when my year starts....let's see...August sounds good," bull$hit he's been pulling lately.
I'm not the biggest fan of the person, but I'm glad he's in pinstripes and not in red socks.
