So I volunteer to do research for and perform a 4 hour training session on Microsoft Office for other employees at my workplace.. nowhere in my job description does it say I have to do this but.. people need it. I won't get paid to do it and will have to prepare the materials off hours..
Tons of folks respond to the e-mail invitation I sent out saying yes they'd love to come and specified topics they were interested in...
Now I get one: so you will be providing us with some food right? i aint coming if there isnt food

well it would make me mad, but i really ;D 'ed when i read this ... you should say yes food, and have a bowl of gummy bears or something and tap water cr***

Seriously, we used to have a standing weekly core team meeting where the first agenda item was to assign who was going to be the minute taker for the next meeting and who was going to bring the snacks for the next meeting. Was the most popular (and most well attended) meeting I ever held......
