Hate michigan, but that pick was a steal, although i much prefer darrell revis, too bad he was gone. Hopefully the Bengals continue having a good draft.
ya i was so pissed when ravis got taken first, knew this would happen. oh well. it'll be interesting to see if we go offense or D next. i know we need to improve our deffense, bbut the offense hasnt really been replenished in a while.

Favorite pick so far, LaRon Landry to the redskins. Thats gonna be an awesome backfield when you pair him with Sean Taylor. The falcons are having a good first 3 picks too.
I am so happy with what the Steelers have done this draft. I dont quite understand the TE but he will help with blocking and some nice inside runs next to heath miller. But Lawerence Timmons...awsome. Take that Porter (sorry, love ya man)
I love the Vikings draft. They got a premier RB, a good WR (I would have picked Jarrett), a CB and a DE and so far have traded to pick up an extra 6th and 7th this year and a 3rd next year. All without losing any players they wanted.

I was actually thinking the same thing^. They have an awesome draft going, and i would guarentee you Rice is going to be better then Jarrett, really underated guy.
Cuz the last South Carolina WR they took turned out so well. Jarrett will be in the league and more productive for a longer time than Rice. Mark it down. Some people make plays.
Glad to see the Who Dey Nation is alive and well on the board and that someone is as bitter as me about picking Kenny Irons. They could have got a "gamebreaker" rb in the fourth round and spent that second round pick on a DT or LB or S.
Roorunner: Won't be going on any roadies this year but a 19 year season ticket holder. Who Dey, baby!!!

Uhh, the last USC receiver taken was Mike Williams...... Actually, Sidney Rice made more big plays then Jarrett, especially last year. All with a less talented offense, and unstable QB situation. Nothing really to argue now though, since neither have played an nfl snap.

My Cowboys draft this years is kinda boring. We got a pretty good pass rusher in Spencer, but I was hoping for a Wide receiver or a CB. Oh well, at least we have another 1st round pick next year ( thank you Browns!), here's hoping we get McFadden!
What happens if my tee shot lands on a bird's back and he carries it out of bounds but then is attacked by a larger bird who grabs the ball and drops it in the hole? Is that still a hole in one? 'Cause that's how I'm gonna play it.

I know you were talking about Troy Williamson, and i was saying that point it moot since Mike Williams was the last Southern Cal player taken, an equal bust. And i guess you've never seen a South Carolina game, because the whole offense was through Sidney Rice, Jarrett didnt even lead his team in receptions. (Also apparent since you didnt know his last name.)
Ah I was reading the Draft Tracker on ESPN or Profootballtalk as I was writing that. Had too many thoughts in my head. I have seen South Carolina play this season as they were on the ESPN family a lot more than they should have been for a team that wasn't that good. Don't you think Rice's stats are a little skewed BECAUSE the entire offense was basically filtered through him? I'm not saying he's a bad receiver, just a guy who could have used more seasoning.
Steve Smith had one more reception than Jarrett in one more game. I suppose that makes him a better receiver.

Actually, if the offense is basically filtered through him I would be more impressed since everybody knows who the main target is. He also had a lot less around him talentwise as opposed to the Southern Cal offense and SEC defenses are much better than Pac-10 defenses. I agree he could've used more seasoning.
As for them not being that good, they lost a lot of close games to teams who were ranked (4 out of 5 by 7 points or less), including a one point loss at National Champion Florida due to crappy kicking. There's no margin for error when you play in the SEC. Spurrier could actually turn them into something special which I believe would qualify him for sainthood, as that would be a miracle.
"Stealing? How could you?! Haven’t you learned anything from that guy who gives those sermons at church? Captain What’s-his-name? We live in a society of laws. Why do you think I took you to all those Police Academy movies? For fun? Well, I didn’t hear anybody laughin’, did you? Except at that guy who made sound effects. Where was I? Oh yeah -- stay out of my booze."

im not thrilled about that pick, but im not mad about it. rudy is solid as hell but we could use a playmaker. i really dont know too much about irons though, so i dunno. In the interview marvin said they were gonna try and get some D in the 2nd round but everyone they wanted got taken earlier in the round, but still.

Mike Williams might not have been a bust if he didnt have that year off before being drafted, but im glad to have him out of our hair in Detroit (despite a not so good draft so far)...ANOTHER WR????? CMON

I think Irons will be a good 3rd down back, and supply some big plays. And although the lions took another receiver, this one is The One, like matrix style. ;D
What's wrong with ESPN? They're saying Rufus Alexander went to Denver. That pick was traded to MN. RA is a MN LB. Try and keep up guys. You're suppose to be professionals!
It's kind of funny. ESPN's chat "expert" was just discussing Denver's 7th round pick. They have no 7th. It was traded to the Vikings. And they still haven't corrected Alexander from Rd 6.
One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain. So hit me with music. Hit me with music, now, yeah. Hit me with music. Brutalize me with music.
Now the Panthers have 3 Recievers from USC...... and they are some of all time greats at USC. We have a fetish.
at least first you guys got yourselves a linebacker. Beason is gonna be a monster inside for you guys. Then now if delhome and carr get to workin hard, your owffesne will be almmost unstoppable from the air.

yea, rumor has it that KI would've been a 1st rounder if he didn't get hurt. i guess he averaged like 124 yards the last 6 games and had 100+ yards in the 1st half of 2 games. he is supposed to be the real deal. and think about rudi. unlike LT who is smooth and makes people miss, rudi gets hit. he takes a beating every game. but yea, i would've liked some d in there.
talk around the bengals is, is that they wanted leon hall all along and the were real happy that he was still there. but didn't he get torched by ted ginn and another big 10 wr??
oh well, in marvin we trust right? GOT MY SEASON TIX THIS YEAR BABY!!!! and as the kids say.... WHO-DIZZLE!!!

Who dey, who dey, who didn't even make them playoffs, who dey, who dey. Seriously guys - the who dey stuff was two seasons ago - when the Bengals actually acheived a shred of respectability.
