Its the best channel. Especially if nothing else is on. I fall asleep to it a lot. Favorites: BOBBY FLAY, Giada, Paula Dean and her cutie sons, Iron Chef old school and Iron Chef America and Ace of Cakes.
Least fave: ANYTHING WITH RACHAEL RAY! I HATEEEEEEEEEEEEE HER. also, not a big Emeril fan.

negative. i like cute girls (for example giada is very cute, and alot of the girls on inforoo are cute and i have a girl crush on Scarlett Johanson), i dont like rachael cuz of her voice and she uses alot of cilantro. if anything i am NOT a catty girl. thank you come again.
I like Rachel Ray, actually, and I LOVE the barefoot contessa, and Alton Brown. Ace of Cakes is amazing, as is both versions of Iron Chef, you are totally right about those, Becca.
On the other hand, I absolutely cannot stand Giada, or Emeril.

Giada is waaaay cuter than Rachael Ray and she likes her... so its def not about being catty! That aside, I also LOVE the food network! I love Iron Chef, Sandra Lee (bc she always makes a cocktail!), and any of the challenges. I dont hate Racheal Ray really, but I think her "E.V.O.O." is sooo annoying! Did you know they put that in the dictionary bc of her!?!? I saw her get an award or something bc of it...rediculous!

Ooooh I forgot the challenges. I watched the bread making competition once and the French lost because they burnt their baguettes, I could not stop laughing.

i'm nto a big emeril fan, or giada. i really like throwdown with bobby flay, unwrapped, iron chef, ham on the street, good eats, food network challenge, and 40$ a day (though i can't stand rachel rays tasty travels), also 30 minuts meals ;D . i like 30 min meals so much my bets friend got me the cookbook for my brithday last year ;D
The thing that is annoying about Rachel Ray is her coined phrases. Any variation of yummy - yummo being a common one - drives me batty. But I end up watching her anyways.
I don't like Ham on the Street. He annoys me. But Barefoot Contessa and Alton Brown have to be my favorites as I had mentioned elsewhere.
Paula Deen cracks me up.
Nobody mentioned Nigella Lawson. She is absolutely gorgeous, and I love her show. She makes some odd things but I think she's definitely girl-crushworthy.
I wish they'd get Jamie Oliver on there again.
Has anyone caught the Take-Home Chef on TLC. That chef is HOT.

mmmmmm, nigella. beautiful, curvy, lovely accent, yummy food... she's sooooo captivating, i could watch her cook all day. too bad her show is only on ONCE A WEEK! i have one of her cookbooks, it's my favorite.
take home chef is like desperate housewives meets food network. it cracks me up seeing the women gussy themselves up for him, then flirt all over him while he's cooking, then sit down for dinner with their hubbies when they come home lol... i'm always thinking "oh man, that husband is gonna be POUNCED as soon as those cameras are gone!"
alton brown is the smartest person on food network. its been proven by jah, jesus, and allah. i love good ole AB.
i liked the throwdown with the cocktail. I made that drink and it was tasteyyyyyy. of course boy meets grill is amazing too.
semi-home made is a sweet idea, but i feel like all the other food network stars thinks shes cheating and really only like her cus shes got some big ole boobiesss.
unwrapped is great. barefoot is great, shes so hamptons. easy entertainning is always great, except he made a black and tan with a corona once, that didn't fly with me. racheal ray has her own talk show now, so shes a traitor, but a cutie i will admit. eveyday italian smokin...recipes and host....
i watch to much food network for a 21 year old male.
I'd like to join in on the Rachel Ray bashing but I can't. I think my 4 year old is in love with her. Everytime she comes on screen he's all "The food lady! The food lady!"

He also thinks that when he see's Nigella it's me, "mama's cookin on TV!" it's probably just the dark hair though 'cause I can't cook at all, that's what my hubby's for

I would like to go on-record as having said that, I too HATE Rachel Ray! I don't think that there is anything cute about her. Quite the opposite, actually. She tries WAY too hard to be cute. That always has the opposite effect on me.
That being said, Why don't they ever show the original (and far better) Iron Chef anymore? I like the American one but, it's just not the same.
