Yeah guys, dont worry about the people who didnt like it, not to discredit their opinion, but its just that, you gotta make your own. From what i've read most people are saying this is the best yet. I dont know how since they basically ruined the premise of venom, but i'm sure it will atleast be very watchable, and definatly plan on checking it out.

Yeah so i didn't go see it tonight... though not cause of this thread... I still wanna see it you guys... at least you have lowered my expectations so really.... now i cant be disappointed cause I dont expect anything Always the optimist
My son (14) has had this night planned out for weeks, go see the movie, then pick up the game. He's even gone without allowance for 4 weeks to save the $40 for the game. Anyway he (and his buddies) loved the movie, but he's really disappointed in the game (PS2); dull action, poor graphics and he's even more pissed now I've told him that he can't return an open game.
Any gamers out there care to comment? Does it get better as you get into the storyline?
I just got back from seeing it and I thought it was pretty mediocre. It wasn't bad, but they just seemed to drag the story out way too long. Like what the hell was that musical number? WTF? I dunno. It's worth seeing, but I definitely don't think it was the best one. Venom did kick some serious ass. Just wish they would have gotten to him sooner.
you talking about the part where peter's walking around the city and dancing and whatnot. its there to show how the black suit has altered his perception of himself. he still is nerdy peter parker but not acting like it, yet all the girls he points at look at him like he's crazy.

No the part where he goes up and plays the piano to embarrass MJ. That seemed very out of place and weird. Like you already got the point about the suit at that point. I dunno. I definitely don't think it'd be worth seeing on the IMAX.

I didn't think it was bad, but it was a step back from Spiderman 2.

Of the people who've seen it, are you guys familiar with the comics? It sounds like it doesnt stay very true to the comic, especially with the venom storyline, just wondering what people had to say on that.
Way...Way....Too much crying. There had to be at least five scenes with peter parker crying. And the whole dancing down the street scene? It was just terrible. That scene was like a bad remake of travolta in saturday night fever.
I've sent in my application to the Real World. So I'm hoping to hear back from that. I'm putting A LOT of my eggs into that basket, the MTV basket. I'm also thinking about getting a gun, and dealing crack. Being a crack dealer. Not like a mean crack dealer, but like... like a nice one. Kinda friendly like, "hey, what's up guys? Want some crack?"

I had thought that this movie was going to be pretty sh!tty but, I was kind of attributing that to my general disinterest in super-hero movies. I'm really surprised at how many people are saying that it sucked so hard! It must be REALLY bad! I'm glad no one talked me into going!

My roommate came back from seeing it with a bunch of his frat buddies last night and said it was pretty terrible too. I'm curious, so I'll see it anyway, probably with my friend whose favorite superhero is Spiderman. Grin.

Yeah... what the fck did they do with Venom? That's one of the stupidest things I've ever seen.
I read that Sam Raimi thougth venom was too inhumane, and didnt want him in the movie, but the producers pushed it on him. From the sounds of how they have the whole venom plot set up, he sounds even more inhumane. Its pretty much just a disease, and has no interaction with his host, right?
honestly venom was such a minor part in the movie nothing was exlplained. the more i think about the less i like it, but while i was watchign it i was content. i really wish venom was the whole movie, the whole sandman added plot was pretty rediculous
