I am fascinated by my dreams. It's also interesting to read what others can remember, and I don't mind sharing what I can recall as well. So I thought I'd make a space here where people could jot down a dream that has stuck out or maybe you're looking for feedback. Dream analysis can be very therapeutic, so here goes!
We treat mishaps like sinking ships and I know that I don't want to be out to drift Well I can see it in your eyes like I taste your lips and They both tell me that we're better than this
This weekend I dreamt that I found the boardwalk piece on the mcdonalds monopoly game, and won 1.6 million. I had to turn in these two pieces with two sprigs of two different plants (i wish i could recall what they were called, they were grasses I've seen in my lifetime).
The dream seemed very real even though when I woke up I recognized some of the nonsense. The odd part of the dream were my concerns after I won the money. How long would I work? I better not spend it yet because I will have to pay taxes. How much taxes will I have to pay, and how much do I have left? Maybe my bf and I can take that long trip we've wanted to take. I can go back to school. I better check my bank account...which was on yahoo in the dream. What to do with this first?
I found it odd, because lately in waking life i've not cared how i've spent the money i don't have (ie VIP roo tickets lol), but in the dream I was concerned with how I spent this massive amount of money I really had, instead of dwindling it away.
Either way, I found myself very unwilling to wake up from a dream where I won 1.6 million. Good thing it was a Sunday.

I just woke-up from a nap. I had a very strange dream. Here's the little bit that I remember:
My gf and I were driving through an extremely run-down industrial part of town, late at night. We started seeing pigs everywhere. I guess "hogs" is more accurate, since these things were huge! For some reason, we decided to pull-over and figure-out what was going-on. Some cowboy-looking guys told us that the pigs had just escaped from a slaughter-house. What's weird is that some of the unfortunate animals appeared to have escaped while in the process of being slaughtered, dying on the street. We were horrified and decided to leave the area. As we were walking back to our car, I saw a baby piglet sitting in the middle of the road. It was adorable and we didn't want the "good ol' boys" to get it, so we decided to take it with us. As we were getting in the car, several cowboy guys approached us. The "boss" told us that we couldn't have it unless we helped them get this enormous pig up into a truck. We wanted to at least rescue one of the animals, so I offered my help. Afterwards, the "boss cowboy" told us that the piglet's name was Burt Reynolds...and that it was just a coincidence. The cowboys hadn't named him that. That was just his name, evidently. The rest is a little blurry. I do remember that, once we got lil' Burt home, we discovered a wire coming-out of his neck. If we plugged another wire into it, we could watch various bands practice...But only if he was asleep at the time. I know that Hilari and I started fighting over Burt and which one of us could watch the secret shows (I don't think the bands knew they were being watched).
Mine was a Bonnaroo dream but a strange one - dreamed that we were there - got in line - breezed through the line - but we had to give them cash and they let us in with no tickets or anything - some guy was directing us through the line but when we got past him - there was no one directing to campsites. there were no campsites - the road led to a small town made up entirely of apartments. But not big buildings of apartments. - Like old buildings converted to apartments and they were all empty and we could just take our pick of where we wanted to stay for the weekend.
We found an old garage that had been converted into 4 apartments but two of them were not finished. We started to leave to look elsewhere when some friends pulled up and we decided to stay there.
Oh - and the apartments were like hotel rooms - beds and bathrooms but no kitchens but connected by a living room. We had more people then beds so we inflated air mattresses for everyone - and when we were done there was no way to walk except across the matresses

My sister has those all the time.
I don't have nightmares very often, but this one has just stuck in my head and I don't know why.
My self and my "little sister"(for the record I'm the youngest of my family) were kidnaped by Mat Damond. He took us into a flighter jet and was threatening to blow things up and crash etc. He had a gun and was pointing it wildly. Then he ejected my "sister" from the plane, without a parashute.
He then landed the fighter jet and was forceing me to watch a video of my sister falling. He was absolutely calm and uncareing. I asked him why did he do it, and he just shrugged and said he didn't know. That's when I started crying. I was crying so bad that I couldn't breath and felt like I was going to puke. That's when I woke up.

Just had my first Roo dream in a while. It was also the first one where I've dreamed a schedule! all I recall of it was I was shocked to see Tool doing a late-nite show on the 2nd stage on Fri Night, while the Police were headlinning Friday. Saturday's headliner was The Roots, (??!!??) doing a special collab w/ Galactic and the other MCs. What a crazy dream.

Wasn't there already a dream thread?
In any case, I had my first Bonnaroo dream the other night. It essentially consisted of my wife and I neglecting to pack for the trip until the morning we were going to leave. That's something I would do, but not her. It was very stressful and I was worried about us getting there on time, but even with all that going on I was just so pumped to be going!

Yeah, I also haven't been able to get the sensation/image of all of my teeth crumbling away out of my head for the past couple days. It's really weird and gross and I want it to stop...it's kind of a dream, I guess.
so, you guys have the dream where all your teeth fall out, right?
I do. It's one of several recurring dreams I have. About a week ago, I had all of my recurring themes happen in one dream:
I was in high school again and my third hour teacher was being a jerk to me so I left class and went to my locker. Of course I couldn't remember the combination, so I went to the office. While waiting, I heard my dog barking and I looked out the window and saw a red wagon with 3 carpet rolls stacked on it and each roll had a black cat's head on one end, tail on the other. (What the hell does that mean?) Anyway, I forgot about my locker and went to look for my dog, but I kept falling down. I was chewing gum that continuously regenerated in my mouth which I kept pulling out of my mouth. So I went to the bathroom to throw it away, but the gum was stuck to my braces and ripped them off, which took my teeth out with it. I was trying to stick my teeth back in but they just wouldn't stay.
I have the chewing gum dream all the time and the teeth falling out dream, but I've never had them at once. The gum dream is more disturbing, cuz it never stops growing and I usually end up choking on it in my dream.
My bf thinks no one will talk to us now that I've revealed this information. ;D
I have the teeth dreams a lot. But more than the teeth dreams I have fish dreams. Whenever I see an aquarium or fish on TV, I know I'll have fish dreams that night. In the fish dreams, they usually start out as regular dreams, ya know, shopping, hanging with family or friends, etc., and then I look over and see that I own an aquarium full of fish and I have forgotten to feed them. So I stop whatever else I was previously doing in the dream and run around trying to find stuff (bread, kibble, whatever) to feed to the fish. I have no idea what it means, but it keeps me from buying an aquarium because I don't want the dreams every night for the rest of my life. As it is now, I have the fish dreams at least once a week.
I have no idea what it means, but it keeps me from buying an aquarium because I don't want the dreams every night for the rest of my life.
I don't chew gum for the same reason, but it doesn't work anyway. I still have the dreams.
Has anyone noticed what position you're in when you wake up from a dream? I don't dream often, or at least don't remember them, when I sleep on my side or stomach. But EVERY time I sleep on my back, I have a bad/disturbing dream. Wonder if there's a medical reason for that? Like different pressure points affect your subconscious mind or something?
