John: We don't even understand our own music Spider: It doesn't, does it matter whether we understand it? At least it'll give us . . . strength John: I know but maybe we could get into it more if we understood it

i guess the thing that does make me sad about his death is: i just dont think the Dead are going to be the same without him ... oh wait, what did you say ?? nevermind ..... cr****
While I do not celebrate any death. I am glad that this man's hate and misguided Christian ideology is gone. That man gave Christians like me a bad name.
Because anyone who supported Apartheid, Segregation in America, and claimed that AIDs was God's punishment to America for supporting gays, is no true Christian.

the last statement is quite strong. correct me if i'm wrong but doesn't the Bible damn those who judge others? i guess that was kinda strong too tho. he did say a lot of stupid things (IMO), i think he apologized for most of the really stupid things he said tho like 9/11 being caused by feminists and homosexuals.
but yea, Cheers to a man who fought for what he thought was right! whether you agree with him or not that is what America should be.

Likewise, remember that the creator of Teletubbies later confirmed that the one character (tinky-winky?) was indeed supposed to be representationally gay. So Falwell wasn't actually off on that one, either.

I heard that he was found in his office, suffocating on his own vomit with a transgendered prostitute and heroin baggies strewn about. What a way to leave the world...... .......party like a rockstar, party like a rockstar, party like a......
so like, 10(ish) years ago, my grandmother died after a long period of dementia / alzheimers (sp?)
me and two of my cousins (who are brothers) were pall bearers for the funeral and burial. when we were driving to the cemetary, "another one bites the dust' came on the radio.
we all looked at each other and decided to go with it - since it was somewhat comical and we're all music fans.
in retrospect, it was cool we left it on, since it's a pretty positive memory of that day.
As far as JF dying, i wish it was true that his brand of hate died with him, but he had many followers...
