"Stealing? How could you?! Haven’t you learned anything from that guy who gives those sermons at church? Captain What’s-his-name? We live in a society of laws. Why do you think I took you to all those Police Academy movies? For fun? Well, I didn’t hear anybody laughin’, did you? Except at that guy who made sound effects. Where was I? Oh yeah -- stay out of my booze."

monte cristo. ham egg and cheeze sammich in between two slices of french toast (preferably texas) drizzle maple syrup. holy cow... thats some good food. just use a fork..trust me i was too hungry once...
pot roast, gravy, mustard, heinz57, american cheese. mix 1st 4 things to your liking in bowl and nuke till pretty warm. put all on bread with cheese. butter outsides of bread and sear in skillet.
when i lived in maine there was this little bakery place called wild oats bakery, not the grocery store chain, they had AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME sandwiches and salads. My fav sandwich was turkey, cranberries, sprouts, cheddar cheese and very little mayo. the bread was made fresh everyday and everything was organic, i miss that place, the south sucks for good organic food.

Sandwich de Medianoche, a close cousin of the ubiquitous Sandwich Cubano, with pork (pernil) and ham, swiss and pickle. The primary difference is that a Medianoche uses sweet eggy bread, similar to challah or brioche, which is then toasted in the sandwich press.

Grilled Cuban. My very favorite food. Thank you, spacefunk, for recognizing this wonderful sandwich. ;P I thought there would be more mentions here, but maybe it's a Florida thing. No other sandwich comes close. I wish we had some cuban bread - I would make one for breakfast right now. ;D

I happened to be very into sammichs
I have been enjoying turkey (thick sliced, over roasted), honey ham, apple smoked pepper crusted bacon on toasted freshly sliced san fran sourdough. Romaine lettuce, aged cheddar, tomato, and Honey Mustard top it off....mmmmmm, panini'd on the grill with a tin foil covered brick if you feel like going all out.

seriously tho, my favorite sangwiches are from two places - Cherry Valley (what up Long Island/Queens!) and Lenny's (all over Manhattan)..
firstly, lets discuss Cherry Valley's Macho Man: -Chicken cutlets -swiss cheese/mozzarella -bacon -homemade fried onion rings ...doused in Cherry Valley's awesome brown gravy & on a garlic toasted hero.
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
or you can go for a Jemma's Combo at Lenny's: -smoked ham -smoked turkey -finlandia swiss -coleslaw -russian dressing ....preferably on Rye Bread...fantastic
