ok here is my thread for this week ..... I know I get to have a really long weekend because I don't work Mondays (humm remember those lyrics lol) , anyway since Monday is a holiday, I don't have to go to work till wed yeaaa but the reason is the men and women that died for our country .... I say a day in a life a lot , but for them it was a day and end of life ... this is too all of the men and women, take that back, we always say men then women, so this is to all the women and men who died letting us go to work, school, the festivals we all love, just being who we are ... some board members know what I am talking about when it comes to the military , and since then I was "advised" not to say "who" but I have a relative that graduated from west point a about a year now, and he/she could at any minute have to go and protect you and I so we can have a great time in a few weeks.. so here is to our troops, I was a "troops" once but that is the past, ... I don't like bush or any of the current people that seem to be in charge, but to my "relative" and to the men and women who died for our country, and the people in the service today, peace to all of you and good karma to you .. cr****
^^^^ could not have said it better myself. I work at a VA facility and I see the heros of our country every day. I see the injured and the ill and am always reminded of the sacrifice they made for our country. That coupled with being a military brat and having been raised in a USAF family has instilled a sense of pride in my country and an undying support for our troops everywhere. God bless you all and I keep each and every one of you in my prayers!
