what kinda kid sits at camp during the best show all weekend, which was def tool?! I feel sorry for you.... You missed the best show by FAR. The lips didnt even compare if you got to see tool. oh well sucks for you! __________________________________________________
I'm a huge Tool fan and I left about halfway through to get a good spot for Superjam. I was soured on the whole "Tool at Roo" thing Friday morning when I was told I could not bring my camera into Centeroo (first time that's ever happened). As this was at 11:00 in the morning I thought it was rather rude to the rest of the bands playing that day who I'm sure don't mind if a fan takes a pic. This Tool fan's love of the music has finally been overcome by the pretentiousness of the member's of Tool. Glad I got to see them in 1994 when they were still just a good rock band. The Roo show all the fans are going ga-ga for doesn't even compare to that club show.

Let the smiting begin.....
I ignored them and brought my camera anyway - if I had not done that I would not have the awesome pics of Ben Harper that I have

I sat back at my campsite and enjoyed some well deserved imbibements before heading out for my extremely long late night excursion. Dont worry about what one guy said, you dont hacve to be a tool fan and I am in the same boat as you so I say you didnt miss a thing...
damn, what the hell... best show of the weekend? wtf is that dude on
The best show of the weekend was obviously[insert the show that YOU enjoyed the most here]
^^^exactly - we all have different tastes iun music - I really enjoyed the Tool show - blew my minds - I think The Police sounded great - but did not play long enough but my favorite show was STS9 just because I was in the right mood for the show and it rocked to be on the level!

I'm a Tool fan, but--to me--dealing with the huge masses of people and/or missing Michael Franti, David Cross, and a good spot for STS9 just wasn't worth seeing Tool.
Anyway, the point has been said plenty already--to each their own. That guy needs to take his pity elsewhere.
I spent that time at my campsite while my husband had his "face melted off by Maynard." Different strokes for different folks, hence the reason to have such a diverse lineup at Bonnaroo!

I was in the same condition as your husband and- as I have said before _ I really enjoyed myself - but Tool is not for everyone - no one is going to like every single band at a festival.
I cannot belive that someone would go over to myspeace to send a message like the original poster posted
