My grandfather, in the midst of a slew of other medical issues (lots of open heart surgeries, blood pressure meds, and fought off prostate cancer), now has a new problem.
He has to get a kidney removed. There is a malignant tumor which caused a blockage.
This came a bit out of the blue, I think even for my grandma. My grandpa and I share the same birthday, and grandma's is just a couple weeks later, and this was the first year in quite a few that we didn't get to celebrate together.
